I will NEVER shop here again, I’ve been in multiple times…. This last time was the absolute worst! my father in law had walked in with my children, my husband and I had walked in shortly after…. We had came to look for boots for my children, as soon as we got back there, there was an employee “helping” them already, we were trying boots on, everything was going alright…. After a while of looking and trying on boots, the employee was still standing over us, just watching us like a hawk… very uncomfortable, especially when trying to find 4 pairs of boots for small children…. We find the boots for the kids, she said let me take these up to the front, okay fine… no problem….. my toddler didn’t want to take her boots off, so we let her keep them…. We then walked over to the children's clothing…. She was still hovering, we didn’t have the chance to look comfortably….. she was right up our a**…. I had turned my back for a second to talk to my husband… this employee had taken two of my children into the dressing room, to help one for f them try jeans on! I was absolutely mind boggled, I didn’t even know what to say that moment! Absolutely furious….. my husband and I then grabbed our children and walked over to the mens section….. we are over there looking she walks over to us reaches HER hand into MY wagon/stroller and grabs MY toddlers boots! I have never felt more uncomfortable in my life while shopping, I will now choose to shop...

Took five kids in to purchase boots for them and the sales called extra people from the back to cover the doors, then reps followed us around wouldn’t leave us alone after directly asking them to leave us alone. Kept examining our current foot wear (all my kids had new shoes we buy shoes at academy then boots at Atwood’s but thought we’d give These folks a try, SAME BOOTS BY THE WAY!) Sales people kept harassing us and following us and took the boots from the children they had selected and said they were taking them to remove sensors. After directly hearing the sales rep ask another if they had our boots placed up front so they could go to the back I confronted them and was told “it’s a customer service thing” You’re dang right it is a customer service thing, customer service is doing as asked. I informed them this behavior is not becoming and is actually illegal and called “accusation by innuendo” I expect to never see anyone treated like this in your store again. Let me teach you something your parents skipped, DO NOT JUDGE A BOOK BY...
Read moreWas very disappointed with my visit today. I live over 40 miles from Cavenders, so my visit was well planned out, as I had a Dr appointment at the VA today. I needed a new winter hat. When I arrived I was greated very pleasantly. I went straight to the Hat Bar. I was in there it seems like 20 - 30 min. Periodically i would step back and look at the front to see if anyone was going to come wait on me. After my greeting not one employee approached me or spoke to me. I finally decided to leave, but need the restroom first. I walked to the back of the store but did not see it. I was going to go back to the Hat Bar one more time, but when I saw what appeared to me as 3 available employees standing around the register area chatting it up and looked right at me I had enough and left. Not 100% on the time period I was there. I left to go to Cavenders from my Daughters house on the south end at 1:17. So I was probably there 1:45 - 3. I am wearing a brown jacket with hood, Vietnam Veterans hat and I have a beard...
