I have been in aquarist since 2011 and as my collection grew so did my aquarium. This in turn means that I would have to purchase larger fish that I could not get from the local pet store. One fish that I have wanted for a long time was a larger peacock bass. I was not able to find any close by and took my search to the Internet. I found this company and immediately made a phone call after finding a beautiful peacock bass.
I had so many concerns about how to actually ship a fish down the East Coast and also questions about good care. The owner Pedro and the manager Mike answered countless phone calls and text messages politely and professionally.
The night before I was ready to order, I had an issue with one of the water parameters and Mike was able to hold the fish for me with Pedroās permission to make sure that the water got back to normal. Once it did they got everything packed up and send out. They even stayed well after closing hours to capture the fish and properly box it for me.
As a business owner, I can attest to good customer service and to say that they went above and beyond is a huge understatement. The fish arrived at the airport and when I picked it up to check it, the associate said he has never seen such care taken to box up live fish.

No one contacted me with a shipping amount so I called them and spoke to Mr. Washington, who stated he would let the owner know to call me. I called the owner, after 3 days of no one calling me after the message was left. I asked how much would shipping be. I was told $100. The owner followed up by saying since my total was now $195, He would send me a bigger fish, one that was more developed and had color already. the fish was supposed to be red and yellow. Instead, I received an 1 inch silver baby fish with no colors. I called to shop to inquire why I didn't receive the fish that I purchased nor the fish he promised. I left a voicemail with Mr. Washington, his assistant and NEVER received a response or replay. It's been 3 weeks now. Very, very unprofessional. They didnāt end up shipping them and when my husband called they didnāt answer until a couple of days later and said it was too hot to ship(okay but you need to communicate) and would do it the next week. The next week came around and they didnāt ship them again and my husband called again and they said they would ship the next day. Next day came and they did not ship them. He called again and they said they were busy and my husband told them to cancel the order and they agreed. Well they never refunded him and he has called again and sent 3 emails via their website and no response or refund. Well will be filing a claim on our credit...
