Horrible experience after purchase. Buyers beware. Go somewhere that they will actually get your product and care about you.
I went to purchase a sectional couch at this store and was told that the one we wanted wasn't available anymore so the sale person showed us another that was. He told us that not all the pieces were in stock ( after selling us on the design and look) and said they would be getting those pieces in soon and added to our order. He even sold us on getting a credit card ( which we didn't need but did to save money) that would give us a 0 interest over 6 months ( i believe) to pay off the couch instead of buying outright, AND a protection plan. This is all great IF we were going to actually GET the couch. a Month later, no calls, no letters, no emails. I had to call in to their customer service, only to have a rude agent tell me that it was probably in their warehouse but would take 6-10 days to process. Again I wait, only to to have to call my sales person to ask what's going on. after stumbling on his words due to not having an answer, he tells me he will call back - Which never happens. When I call back to the customer service line Reluctantly, they now tell me its going to be ANOTHER MONTH! I have written corporate, I have tried to speak to their customer service, and I have tried speaking to the sales person who sold me the couch, NOTHING. They do not care once they get their money. They provide no service what so ever, no help, and leave you stranded after a purchase.
If you are thinking of buying furniture, I would recommend going somewhere that is willing to actually 1) get you the purchase you are buying, 2) is willing to do the research to find out what happened to your expensive purchase, and 3) has a customer service/management/company that is willing to actually help you.
This truly has been the worst experience I have ever had buying something for my home. For reference, its march now and I STILL haven't received any word on the status of this product or the product itself, 2...
Read moreHave been a customer of Macy’s Furniture 6-7 times. Love this place, except NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE.
I called 5 times yesterday over the course of the day, trying to reach my sales person about a pending order, and couldn’t get to her (disconnects when dial the number she shared), so then I called the main number, pressed the number for furniture department, and whether it’s 1pm or 3pm or 5pm, no one answers, no way to speak to a receptionist, and no way to leave a voicemail.
It’s unthinkable to me that, in this or any economy, Macys wouldn’t have a simple 1980s technology to allow a customer or potential buyer the ability to leave a message or auto transfer you to a live human in another department.
Bizarre. And terrible. Do better, Macys. With all the online competition now, you have to be able to provide human assistance. To long time, current, and...
Read morePurchased a mattress with a Worry no More pad. The sales person ordered the wrong size which we did not discover until we had signed for the order. So at that point the driver was done. We contacted the store immediately and were told it would be takcare of we would have it in about a week to ten days. Fast forward 18 days and no pad. I have been told it was going to be delivered 3 different times but they couldn't provide any tracking. Now they claim an express order was generated yesterday and it will be here by day 20 but no tracking. Sales experience was great because of commissioned sales people but the back end service is horrible. I hope I don't have any problems with...
