I wish I could give them zero stars. At first glance this seems like a great shop. I took my car here to get a diagnostic check, because my check engine light was flashing. After pulling the codes, they informed me that three codes were popping up and they had no idea what could be the cause of the issue, BUT they suggested replacing the knock sensor on my 2011 Hyundai Sonata. I was told that if replacing the knock sensor did not fix my car issues, that I would only be charged $75.00 for the diagnostic check. They replaced the knock sensor, costing me about $450 with parts and labor; however, I drove the car only 2 miles before the check engine light came back on. I attempted to bring my car back, but then my car cut off on me and would not start. I called them back letting them know what had happened and how I would need a refund for the knock sensor and only need to be charged for the diagnostic check like we discussed. I was told that they would not be honoring their word and even got hung up on after voicing my frustrations. Luckily, I listened to my gut telling me to take my car somewhere else, where they found a leak in my radiator. American Tire Lube not only reneged on their verbal promise to me, but also failed to do a thorough check of my vehicle to discover the real issue. This unfortunately, cost me time and money. Spending $450 for a sensor that I later discovered was under warranty. I highly recommend you find another shop to take your vehicle. They can not be trusted no matter how nice they seem...

When you walk in before your service is started he tells you if you give them 5 stars and a review you get a free item. So glad my reviews are based off of service and not handouts otherwise I would’ve been among the many fake reviews you see on this post. Owner is EXTREMELY rude. Admitted to swiping my card about 20 or more times. The money came out of my account. He turned the mic off at the front counter, which is how you communicate with the associate, while I was talking. He was being so rude to the point that it started to piss me off so I returned the energy. He made me call my bank and even the bank told him that the money was taken from my account. He wouldn’t give me my keys until I paid him via cash app and kept telling me “you don’t wanna see me be rude” bucking up on a female, sassy as hell. Will NEVER return. Please take a class on customer service. I pray my oil was even changed correctly after seeing a review after leaving how an entire bottle of oil was left under someone’s car. There are plenty of other places to go in the area, please do not go here. The reviews are fake.

Edit: Because pray with me don’t play with me. Commenting saying “I remember this transaction” another lie lol nobody was inside the shop the entire time of my transaction besides me and the owner. If I could give it a lower review I would. I have never seen such unprofessional practices with a mechanic shop. We took in a 2005 chevy malibu maxx for a gas leak. It was still operating fine other than the leak. Ended up have to take it back 4-5 times to have car looked at again. Gas tank and fuel pump were replaced but car was staggering and cutting off by itself. Car rpm go up and down by itself. When you put fuel in the car it jerks and turns off. Was told they could not do anything since the engine light wasn't on-lie. Was told it was turning off by itself when we brought it-lie. Was told they ran the car in idol all day and drove it around even though I look at the gas hand and it was at the same level-lie, was told they would check the pump and replace it- lie. I just can't believe. They seem to be nice people but on a business level this is just not acceptable. They refused to do anything with in the 30 days even though it states on the bottom of the receipt that the labor and parts have a 30 days warranty. Ended by them threatening to charge us extra for the car being there for labor they did? What labor? and told us to remove the car from the property. I do not recommend this place at all.
