For some reason, probably because they're in the same open air mall, TJMaxx and Burger King got put together. So, if you're going to one, you might want to hit the other. (I'll try to get This fixed.) TJMaxx: I can honestly say that I've never left This store empty handed. They have a large variety of discounted quality items. They have (m & f) clothing from children's sizes to plus sizes. Purses, shoes, jewelery, books, toys, gifts, household, art and misc. such as some sporting goods, coffee, teas, candy, paper products, etc. Always a good shopping experience. This Burger King recently re-opened. It's a roomy BK and has bathrooms with disabled facilities. The parking lot also has disabled parking and disabled entryway. I have to admit, I've always been a fan of the BK Whooper. š Nowadays, I get the Jr. Whooper which is smaller but identical. So good. There's always lots of crispy lettuce, onions and tomatoes. It's like a salad on a grilled burger. My grandchildren and son try other things from the menu and are always happy with their choices. So I have to say, the food at this BK has been...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTwo cashiers helping customers with difficult transactions, which I actually really appreciate but then the manager and another worker are standing behind them with their backs turned completely oblivious to the line of people waiting to check out. Manager finally turns around and stands there for a minute then asks over the walkie for āblankā to come up and help. One of the cashiers asks manager if she can jump on a till because she was helping with a difficult transaction and manager says no and that āblankā will come up soon. I despise when managers are unwilling to jump on and cashier for 3 minutes to get a line down. Iāve worked retail customer service and nothing is worse than a manager that would rather stand back and bark orders vs help. She even got annoyed with one worker for going above and beyond to help an older customer with a card issue. The cashiers were all wonderful and I so appreciate them going the extra mile to help...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAlways understaffed but I'm not grumpy about it, I know to ask an employee for help and they are usually on it. I love seeing Amanda when I check out, she is such a positive person!. My advice to anyone stopping in to shop, expect checkout to take a minute, but don't be mean about it. The employees that are there have no control on how many people are working on any given day, shortages on staff is not their fault so have some patience and maybe tell the employees that are are helping you that you appreciate them. It's a corporate business, much different than a hometown small business that gives you that one on one help, so just be...
