Stopped in a couple weeks ago to look at a bush hog. A 72” was exactly what I’m interested in and was the only one on the lot. No pricing was on the unit so I entered the building to inquire more information. There were about 5 employees in a gaggle at the counter talking with who I assume was another customer. I worked my way to the counter after looking at a few items and stopped at the open counter area to the right of the gaggle of employees. I picked up a brochure or two and waited within a couple feet of the ongoing conversation among the 6 men. After about 5 minutes of waiting without a single indication I was recognized by even a single employee I walked out the door. Not one single employee said a word to me. There were two customers in the store. The one the employees were talking to and me. I don’t know what the other customer had purchased, if anything but I had more than $3000 in my pocket and ready to buy what I had walked into the store to purchase. Another local Bemidji business got my business that day. ACME did not, nor will it receive it in the future. I gave the business 2 stars because they had good quality products in stock that are like the products I normally would purchase. Otherwise I would have given the business one single star as there was really no other reason I would go in that...

I brought in a mower I bought less than three months ago. (Acme supposedly does the warranty service for my mower maker. The told me to take it there.) I waited over two weeks to have the mower looked at. Then I was told the mower is broken beyond repair, that the block is cracked. This is not a warranty repair because I must have broken it. And then I was charged over $20 for the cost of determining that my mower could not be repaired. As hard as the loss of the mower was, I could understand that. My husband bought an expensive tool from this store and they keep debiting money out of our checking account for items that were paid for in full months ago. This morning my bank account was short almost $600 for items that were purchase and delivered months ago!!! How is this shady accounting practice allowed? We have called and they have refused to give us are money back and they are acting like its no big deal, meanwhile i am out almost $600. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO STEAL...
