Cost Less Carpet of Bend — Local services in Bend

My husband and I LOVE this store in Bend. We checked many other stores in town when we decided to have a tile shower in our master installed and to lay LVP in most of our house. Cost Less not only beat all the other prices, they also had our favorite inventory and we took home ALOT of samples from many many stores before choosing the quality and look of what we wanted from Cost Less. We were helped by Eileen. She's a design salesperson there and listened very intently and always took us to the most beautiful solutions. I felt like she always had time for us on our different visits to the store throughout the choosing, buying and delivery stages. Eileen, seriously, she's amazing. Then when we had 3 chipped boards on their ends out of the 38 boxes we received, she and the owner of Cost Less immediately refunded us 50.00 as a courtesy for our inconvenience. Who does that? It was only 3 boards and on the ends which we were able to use on installing them against the wall after cutting off the end to match the varying lengths we were trying to acheive in our layout. Really terrific people and terrific prices. There's carpeting in our future that needs to be done as well. I love that they keep track of everything I've bought so if I need a matching color or caulk, they can figure it out for me. I've been purchasing from here for 8 years and remodeled every room in my house. When I went back to get flooring for my spare room to match my current floors, it was 7 years later and of course the flooring I had bought was discontinued. They were able to find a current product that matched what I had bought earlier EXACTLY and this time it had mat attached so it was even easier to install! And both times I got the flooring for the low low price of $1.99/square ft. On top of that, they let you return anything you didn't use (full boxes of flooring or individual tiles) so that's pretty awesome. They have very knowledgeable staff that will take the time to tell this DIYer how to do things, which I really appreciate. This place is always my first stop when I'm doing home improvements. And now that it's been almost a decade since I redid my bathroom and bedroom, it's about time to do it all over...

My husband and I had done some tile shopping around town. Although we selected a tile from a different store we went back to Cost Less Carpet to have them order it because we liked them so much. We were give a WRITTEN/TYPED & INITIALED bid for our tile, we put down a deposit. All seemed normal. Then we got the call that said they were not going to uphold the price that was quoted on the WRITTEN bid. The new price was more than $5 a sq. ft. more than the quoted written bid, and they were not going to honor the WRITTEN bid they gave us. Initially after our first visit we were so excited, we have huge plans for our house including new floors, granite counter tops and a bunch more tile projects. They will not be getting our business in the future and I will be sure to share this story to everyone I meet. They have lost my business, and in a small town, word of mouth travels faster than any...
