At Powers Leather we’ve been online customers for a while, but finally made the 6-hour drive to visit in person—and it was so worth it!

The selection of leather is incredible: every color, texture, and weight you could imagine, all beautifully organized in their warehouse, which is HUGE! It just keeps going!

What made the trip even more special was the experience itself. We were given a private tour and access to shop on a day they’re normally closed to the public and were treated like old friends— everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. And honestly, we appreciated that far more than being treated like royalty.

I have been buying hides through Maverick Leather for the last 4 or 5 years, and figured a review was long overdue! I can’t say enough good things about the company as a whole. From the quality of the leather, the promptness in customer support, and ease of getting my orders in and shipped, they are fantastic.

Recently placed an order for a large order that had come in and needed the hides as soon as possible. Received a phone call a few hours later to upgrade the shipping, and they made sure to get it dropped off with the day’s orders so I’d have it as fast as possible.

Suffice it to say, if there is a leather heaven, I found it @maverickleather. (The sign on the door even says so...) These two snapshots by no means do the 7000 square foot space in Bend, OR justice, but this place is incredible, not only for the enormous selection of leathers but for the prices and the really nice folks who work there. They are among the most helpful people I've ever had the pleasure to meet. When you go, be prepared... I thought I might leave with one or two hides. Well that I did... And a few more.
