Update: my review below was from 3 years ago and everything still applies and we still love this place! We go here SO often for work that I can fill up a punch card in a couple weeks, easy. It has gotten really popular and it can be hard to get a seat in the mornings but it's quiet in the afternoons. We also drop by when we need to pick up a Source Weekly. Very convenient! Adorable little coffeehouse that serves local baked goods from Too Sweet Bakery and yummy coffee. They have a cardamom syrup that I really enjoy, a punch card program for regulars, and a light and bright space that is perfect for meeting up with a friend. It's not really a great space to lounge and sit all day, but it's conveniently located just off the freeway and it's in a location where there aren't many coffeehouse options, so it's a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. The only suggestion I have to them is to get Metolius Chai instead of My Chai - both are local but the My Chai is beginner's chai - way too sweet and basic. Metolius Chai is where it's at!!

Highly recommend this little local coffee shop. As someone who travels the world and tries new coffee shops everywhere I go, I consider this to be one of the best coffee's I have had in the state or Oregon. The first day I went, I got the Iced White mocah with Oatmilk which came in at a Solid 9.0/10 rating for me, slightly on the sweeter side but otherwise the coffee is incredibly smooth and low acidity. The coffee is also quite reasonably priced for the high quality that it is. This latte was so good that my partner and I had to go back for another latte the following day where we got a white mocah with raspberry which although still on the sweeter side, came in at a solid 9.5/10. Will definitely be going again everytime we are in town. Give it a try, doubt you will be disappointed!

Well lit, clean, and welcoming decor. The location is tucked away but there aren't many other coffee shops in the area. That's ok because the service here is good, orders arrive quickly, there's internet, and its not difficult to find a good place to sit as alot of people seem to take orders to go. Also appears that they staff more baristas during peak morning hours. The coffee is Stumptown and pretty good. Pastries are from sweet cakes daily so they may run out of some things later in the morning. Parking can be tight at times because of construction and when the other businesses are in peak hours but worse case there is usually street parking that only requires a short walk.

The people who work here are extremely friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is comfortable. The bare-bones menu is focused on coffee almost exclusively, which is a unique offering, and I imagine it's appealing for the niche audience they serve. The four stars in this review are only because I'm not part of that niche, otherwise I'd probably give five. :) Due to allergies I can't eat or drink anything they have on offer (whereas most coffee shops at least have bottled water, fruit juice, izzes, organic yogurt, or fruit snacks to choose from). So when I visit I just pay a tip for my time there. If you're hoping for a snack or small meal to go with your beverage, this isn't the best venue for that, but it is a nice and cozy place to relax with a warm coffee and spend time with a...
