Timbers — Restaurant in Bend

Ok, so I raaarely would give this low of a review. I have to say though, I have NEVER had as horrible service as I had tonight at this place then I've truly had in my entire life...I mean if you can even call it service. My friend and I live close by and used to go here ALL the time. Never had issues. Today there was a white male in his 30s with a short trimmed goatee and another younger girl there I saw as well. Well came in sat down and didn't get a hello or any service what so ever for at least 10 if not 15 minutes(male bartender stayed on one end of the bar whooole time) well then we ordered my drink and a water and we're Plannnning on getting food. Well, we were never handed menus...never asked if we wanted food or anything else for that matter the rest of our 30+ minutes we were there. Sipped on my drink talked for awhile and never came over to ask how we were doing, or if we maybe wanted food....nothing. had to actually ask the female bartender for a menu while she was walking around the guest tables. Then she asks if we were looking to order....I said YES...please. then she looked the other way grabbed a pabst out of the fridge and delivered it to another guest at the opposite end of bar and never came back either. So either we were just on the wrong right side of the bar or these bartenders don't give a damn about customer service OR are just extremely oblivious and forgetful. Not sure which or what all is true there but I never make bad reviews. To sit in a place for 45 minutes and get 1 drink and talk to the 2 bartenders AT the bar ONE time and on a VERY mellow night btw and not get a menu til 30 minutes in and still get ignored even then is just wild. Had to literally leave cash for my drink and leave because who knew how long it'd be before another bartender decided to come over. So ate and taco bell in a matter of 30 seconds. Thanks for yalls tremendous...

My buddies and I used to like this place to watch the game. Unfortunately, we also like to eat and drink and Timbers has made that really bad. I thought this was a place that wanted us to eat and drink and give them money to be there.

The 2 girl bar tenders on big Saturday night were attractive, and that is all I can give them. We try everything we can to be pleasant to the girls, but truly, they are the slowest thing since I saw a turtle crossing the road.....and they don't seem to care. The line is deep and they just tool around barely making a dent in the crowd.

This Saturday I was told after sitting at a table for 20 minutes, oh ...we aren't doing table service tonight....Really news to Us! How bout letting us in on the secret?

I can not recommend this place any more. So sad, it is our local bar....maybe the "other place" down the street will...

All in all this was a horrible experience! Went in for a beer and some food on a Friday evening, not very busy but some other customers. I sat at the bar where after waiting 10 minutes to order a beer I started trying to wave to the bar tender, with no luck I got up and went to one of the waitresses and asked if I could order a Lagunitas IPA and for a food menu. She told the bar tender and a few minutes later I was brought my beer and a menu. Decided against eating there and just had the beer which was 4$ and I paid with a 10$ bill. After leaving and ordering food elsewhere, I realized the bar tender gave me 16$ back out of the 100$ bill I paid with. I got my correct change back after having to drive back and explain to 3 different employees and wait another 30 minutes for them to confirm...
