I love Ross Dress for Less stores. We are fortunate to have 2 of them in Bend, Oregon. My friend and I went to the North store in Cascade Village tonight. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures today. They have a lot of other things besides clothes. The clothes they have are all at good, reasonable prices. Years ago I bought a nice jacket from there that only cost me about $15.00. It was marked down from $100.00 because it was on clearance sale. I loved that jacket. The sleeves could have zipped of and made a vest if I wanted that. I wore it to death. Besides clothes they have a lot of other house hold items, toys, luggage, food items etcetera. Today I came home with a set of 2 throw pillows for $9.00. I also found a Spln Scrubber which I eventually want to buy priced at only $20.00. The Spin Scrubber would make it easier to clean my shower. Now I am in my 70's some things are a bit harder to do than when I was younger. There were also some beautiful, small end tables made in India that were beautifully carved. I would love to have been able to get them but they weren't in today's budget. Both stores often have different items in them so if you can't find an item at one store you may be able to find it at the...
Read moreI was visiting my elderly mother one day in Bend. And she went ahead of the family because she really needed to use the restroom. She didn't realize they had code locks on them now so she scurried back up front and asked the cashier to open the bathroom for her cashier was rude and told her no. So my mom was trying to hurry to get back to the car. And she went face first on the curb blood was coming out of her head and she ended up having an accident among impact. It looks like somebody beat the crap out of her with a baseball bat so I'm not very happy with the lady up front that was very rude and you could have let her go to the bathroom. She said you were not busy at all. I get so sick of everybody being so lazy with their jobs you still have to be there you still have to work to get your money you might as well work. You're lucky we don't sue you over that I don't think management would be very happy with you. Why don't we try to be a little kinder. If it was your family member you would be very...
Read moreI'm a loyal customer and shop often at this particular Ross, but after my experience with the cashier who did my exchange I would rather shop elsewhere. I had a wonderful evening of Christmas shopping and my last stop was Ross to exchange a blouse. The cashier sniffed the blouse all over and inspected the blouse which I had purchased a few hours earlier and was not hapoy with my returned item . She said she smelled a faint perfume smell, which I replied with "do you stand outside the fitting rooms and sniff everyone's clothing that they are putting back on the shelves?"
A most embarrassing and unpleasant experience to say the least, and put a huge damper on...
