Berea Municipal Court — Local services in Berea

I love Berea its self and disagree with the reviews about the city itself being trash. I have lived in trash cities/suburbs and this is not the case for Berea. Most residents are great! Schools on both High school and Elementary are superb. The police officers are actually made up of some great people FOR THE MOST PART! I have seen dedicated men and women who care about helping us and being safe. They helped me during truly hard times in my family and gave extra support to my son around the holidays. Others ruin it for them!

Those “others” those police are extra!! I have no record whatsoever but was aggressively handcuffed and patted by a police officer over my first ticket I received in the midst of the pandemic stay at home order. Now I understand they still needed to do their and take me according to the law, But I have seen them put offenders In the back of their car with no cuffs and a light pat down over far more serious things such as possession or conduct. They were hoping for more of a catch but it was just trauma, my trauma.

The real bad eggs or trash is the higher ups in this court. The civil staff such as constock favors the landlords and himself. What he thinks it’s right instead of both parties. Not everyone can afford a lawyer but all motions should still be reviewed and discussed. Also you would think someone would catch on after landlord has a half dozen suits for garnishment set up at the same court in the same city. He always wins with comstock. My life was destroyed! In a social worker with two kids! I follow the law and do my best but worst time of my life. Thank you for also showing me that in 2023 men in power like landlords can harass women with no consequences...

Cops will harass u and pull you over if u meesed up or just want to judge u. I got pulled over 3 times and car surched in one week for stupid stuff but yet not get pulled over in outher citys. My brakes went out and I couldn't stop so I went through red light on accident then when I was trying to stop to pull the car over it would not stop and they thought I was trying to run from them and I got all kinds of tickets and acusing me of having drugs and serched my car me etc.and find nothing every time, then I mixed up plates from my wife's car on accident they where both being worked on at the same time and where the plates go on trunk they where starting to rust and I was touching up so they would not rust as fast. (there both Honda Accords) she forgot to put renewed sticker on plate and they pulled me over without running plate and seeing if it was exprierded telling me the plate is expired and I know we had renewed them. But they can do what they want there are some really cool nice cops here in Berea to but a few of them are rookie cops with something to prove idk.... there is way more crime out here that they are needed and there wasting time on pulling me over and watching what I'm doing for nothing. Yes I have a past and not a good record with police but that's my past can I please just live my life in peace. I'm not out here raping, robing, stealing, herting anyone. Don’t Ever Step Foot In Berea. When I was in a car accident a lady ran me to the side of the road and totaled my car! She was planning to drive off as I watched her leave toward the end of the street. She ended up coming back 15 minutes later and asked if I called the police. Remind you that I was stuck inside my Vehicle couldn’t get out she didn’t even bother to help me out the car, strangers came and called the ambulance for me. I had a torn quad and back spasm. Guess who was at fault in the accident though? Me! Her car was still drivable but I had to be carried out. My ticket was high as hell! And they don’t let you pay online Way is that?! I lived in Toledo and in college. They expect you to miss class, work and everything. If you call and ask to pay online with respect the women in the office loves to get rude and argue. They don’t care if you live in Texas, if you don’t show up to pay in person they’ll suspend your license. And want more money! Stay...
