I bought a $12 Hot Wheels Mario Kart toy (Princess Peach in B-Dasher) from Tidepool Games, and it broke within minutes. The head literally fell off during normal play. I went back the following morning (less than 24 hours later) to return or exchange it, but was told they don't accept returns and refused to exchange. There was no manager available and the owner supposedly wasn’t answering calls. They refused to do anything.

For a toy to break that quickly and for the store to take zero responsibility is unacceptable. They don’t stand behind what they sell, and there’s no real customer service. I have always been fond of this store because of their unique selection of quality toys and have always enjoyed the employees as well. I was so excited that not only were they open (Wednesday in December) but the staff member (Abby) was amazing! She was so friendly and sweet and honestly and truly helpful! The location isn’t quite exact as shown on the map. It is on the boardwalk in front of where the pin is. The woman at the counter was very cool and helpful. They offer lots of top quality toys, not random plastic junk you might find at other toy stores. The shop is not “beach specific” there are lots of family games and art toys as well.
