D B Fries — Restaurant in Bethany Beach

This is my 3rd time eating here. Whenever I visit Bethany Beach, if I am to get lunch, I would find myself going to this place for some fried oysters. I noticed the menu has changed to all meals. I used to be able to get just the fried oysters, and today, only the meal is available. I love their fried oysters... They are large, fried to perfection, and lightly breaded. They cold slaw was delicious. I'm very picky when it comes to cold slaw, and this is the first that I can remember that I ate all of it. The cold slaw has a nice flavor, not watery at all. The fries are long and crispy on the outside. I travel with my dogs and the way this place is layout, I can order my food without having to leave my dogs in the car. I will definitely continue to eat here, if I'm in Bethany Beach, and get more of their delicious large...

I'm skeptical when it comes to Lobster Rolls because a lot of places will put a lot of filler like celery but this place is legit! The Lobster Roll was simply Lobster and a beautifully buttered roll which were absolutely delicious! I also don't like coleslaw but I gave it a try here and it was surprisingly good! It gave a refreshing break and cut into the greasy fries well! Needless to say, a place that put fries into their name, they better be able to back it up and this place does just that! When you guys first opened years ago, all you made was fries. As the years went on you slowly added other menu options. NOW your almost a 5 course restaurant (exaggeration, but you get my drift)! I think it was a big mistake! Yeah, the money might be there, but I grew up eating your fries, and the taste has gone way down!
