Absolutely only giving 1 star because it doesn’t allow zero stars. My teenage son had a date and bought tickets through “Fraudango”! He arrived to the movie 4 hours later and checked his email while in line. It was then he noticed he still hadn’t received the tickets from Fandango. Embarrassed on a first date, the AMC ticket person advised he can buy 2 there in person and Fandango will credit the ones he didn’t receive back to him. We called and Fandangos auto serviced says their policy is no refunds after the movie time. I called on my sons behalf and took 45 minutes before I could speak to a barely English speaking supervisor. He said you should have called before because we don’t refund after the movie starts. In his broken English he just kept repeating that as my frustration level grew. This service is a FRAUDULENT JOKE!! Called their HQ (supposedly in) California and you can’t talk to a live person…just able to leave a message in a genera mailbox. Read moreThe building manager is a complete disgrace, when I called to inquire why fire alarms and sirens were disturbing the peace and quiet of our neighborhood, she laughed in my face and was condescending, rude and stated there was nothing to be done. As if being woken up at 5:30 in the morning is considerate or humorous, none of which I find to be true at all. This not only happened on one occasion, but several.
Then she lied on top of that stating this was mandated (which is also false; upon speaking with the Beverly Hills Fire Department, and even though alarms need to be tested, this does not need to be done at the crack of dawn). I found that indeed there were in violation of the peace and quiet of the residential neighborhood. Read moreHorrible Customer Service. Fandango's decision to not exchange my tickets or refund me is unfair and not justified. I have repeatedly told the Customer Service Representatives helping me that the website is broken - and some links do not work when browsing tickets on iOS Safari.
Due to a site error, purchased tickets for the wrong date and just realized today - because I was meaning to view the movie tonight, not yesterday. No one has helped me exchange the $53 tickets so I had to spend over $100 just to see one movie. I think the refund and exchange policy is unfair when the purchase was made due to site error - not the customer’s fault.
I am deeply disappointed with this decision and will be escalating this issue and telling everyone I know to run away from Fandango. I’m going to leave a negative BBB review, and leave bad reviews all over the internet. I’m frustrated at the lack of sympathy from Fandango and will never use your service again.
