Copper Dog Books — Local services in Beverly

I have waited a while to post this review because I have given this store many tries due to its convenience and wanting to support independent bookstores, but yesterday will have been my last time. In the past when I go in you are immediately approached by someone asking you a million questions about what you like to read then handed books when in reality that is overwhelming and I just want to browse. I cannot even think straight. Then the last 2 times I have been in there whoever is running register is MASSIVLY unhappy with their job. She didn't offer me a passport even though it was Independent Bookstore Weekend and everyone in there was getting them, she did not utter a word to me for the second time. Not only that but they kept telling people they had to purchase to get a stamp which is ABSOLUTELY not the rule for the passport challenge. Honestly how disgusting of a business 😒. I highly recommend taking your business to beverly farms book shop...

I have always left with more books than I planned to buy walking in, and I have never regretted it. Their staff recommendations are on point, their new selections are always relevant, and their children's section is matchless.

Copper Dog Books is utterly and truly amazing! The selection of books they acquire contains every aspect of books you desire, from the old classics and information, to the newest and trending books on the market everyone has been searching for. I love browsing, and it is a perfect local store to shop for gifts for various holidays, also being a great place for gifts for the young loved ones in your life.
