Even though Kohl's is one of my favorite stores, I just started to notice that the people who work there, don't even ask customer's if they need help with anything. I'm not saying that they NEVER do, I just don't see the curtious interaction that I grew up with. One thing that bothers me is when I go into a store and no-one greets you or even acknowledges your presence. Even if someone is busy and can't say a simple "hello", you can still be acknowledged with eye contact & a little nod. Feeling ignored by staff is not a great feeling. It doesn't make me want to spend my hard earned money in a store that doesn't respect its customers. The only time anyone acknowledges me, is when I'm looking at the jewelry. I dont do anything to warrant being asked 7 times if I am doing okay....which I know is code for "WE THINK YOU'RE STEALING SO WE'RE GOING TO INTERUPT YOU EVERY 3 MINUTES UNTIL YOU LEAVE" UGH... ruins my whole retail therapy...
Read moreWas looking for a winter coat for a present. Found one I liked, there was a sign above it stating " save " an extra 30% see a sales associate for details. Knowing this is generally a ploy to sign up for a credit card ( which I am not opposed to ) I proceeded to search for a sales associate. After walking the entire store, there was no associates/help/live bodies in any department. They were not helping other customers.....they were just not around! The lines in the checkout were long, being the Christmas season and all, so I was not going to wait in line to ask a cashier for help in a department. To summarize: I will not make any further shopping trips to Kohls. I feel sorry for the Employees who are obviously understaffed/overworked. I will patronize stores that have enough staff to help potential customers with questions about the stores products...
Read moreStore is clean and nice but the customer service needs to be worked on. Was in the dressing room with the bottom lock locked, someone knocked I assume it was a worker, and i said yes and she says in a nasty tone, "well it says vacant, that's why there's a lock on there." And walked away. Then at check out one of the workers behind the counter was yelling about some clothes that got moved and where did they go and on and on bickering with another check out lady and ignored us for a few minutes. Then a nice younger gal helped us check out. Not impressed the the MAJOR attitudes the employees having going on there. I don't appreciate being talked to like I'm stupid and don't know how to lock a...
