SERVICE DOG TRAINING AND SERVIC DOG ACCESS
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS DOG HAS BEEN WORKED WITH IN PUBLIC ACCESS AREAS SINCE I RECEIVED HIM, HE IS WELL MANNERED AND WELL BEHAVED, HE STILL HAS TWO WHOLE YEARS OF TRAINING TO DO AND NEW PLACES CAN BE A CHALLENGE, HE WAS AN ABSOLUTE CHAMP AND HANDLED THE NEW ENVIRONMENT OUTSTANDINGLY! however. am super disappointed in this establishment. I have been going to skate world since I was in middle school, I loved the place, I am now a grown adult, whose chosen to train service dogs for a living, this establishment was not only unwelcoming to me and my partner(service dog in training or SDIT) BUT THEY CONTINUED to ignore me while I was in line to buy a pizza, they did notbask if my partner was ok when an older man stepped on my SDIT's tail, in fact they seemed upset with me,, that he had yelped in pain and gave me a dirty look when I went to console my SDIT even when I called out to get the older gentleman's attention to ask him if I needed to pay bc I assumed I did, I went up to ask the wife, she ignored me too and sent their young female employee who was the only polite employee there, to answer my question about needing to pay. I even wanted to say thank youto the owner for giving me an opportunity to use such a high distracted place to teach my SDIT tolerance and manners and he went into the box to play music while I began to approach him and it seemed like he was pretending to not see me approaching him,, I will be returning and I hope to see a more welcoming atmosphere, most patients who use service dogs want to feel comfortable and welcome and so does the dog, if they have questions I hope that they would just ask for their own sense of reassurement instead of pretending the customer doesn't exist it is super rude . I would love to hold a seminar and training session so that way the owners can learn to feel more comfortable around service dogs and service dogs in training, I know alot of people have bad experience bc there are LOT of fake ones, but you have to keep an eye out for the real ones too and treat their partnership just like you would treat any other paying customer, . Ihipefully that can be arranged the next time I chose to come in and...
Read moreThe girl at the door was okay she wasnt rude but she wasnt very polite either. The manager was rude to my little brother he's 12 and has never skate before, hes also short so he could use the rails that they give the smaller kids, but they wouldn't let him use one until my mom argued with them. The employees were so rude except for this one skinny guy who was a sweet heart and would help my brother up along with other kids and people that were skating. The blonde girl who I interracted with most was acting like I was bothering her from the moment we went to get our skates and while skating she was too preoccupied talking with her friends and skating with them. Honestly, I used to love going here when I was a kid but what happened?! The price is way too high for how the staff treat you. Overall awful experience. There weren't even that many people there either so I don't see how it's so hard to at least pretend to act nice when people come near. Then go back to being your rude self when the...
Read moreWent on NYE, wasn't expecting as many people as there were. Started having a panic attack so we found the closest vacated seat available, which happened to be a table with people's stuff on it. When the place is that crowded, there's not a place without somebody's stuff in it to sit. Lady came over and practically flopped right on top of me, and made a comment about how, "apparently a table full of people's stuff doesn't matter to inconsiderate people." My husband and I then proceeded to take off our skates and leave, as at that point our night was ruined. Before leaving, I tried to politely tell the woman that when it's this crowded, you don't have the luxury of having a table to yourself. You find an empty spot and park it. She started yelling and cussing me out saying I was the one being rude and that she had a family of seven to worry about. I understand having a larger party, but that doesn't mean you get to be passive aggressive to a stranger. Was disappointed that behavior like that...
