Michaels — Local services in Billings

So, I normally shop cheap online or with Hobby Lobby. That being said, Michaels is definitely a little expensive compared to what I'm used to.

But, the quality of everything I've found so far is great. So the price is worth it.

The store is decently laid out, I've gone on several separate occasions and can find what I'm looking for without having to ask for assistance.

They do have self-checkouts, as well as a few cashiers at registers.

Employees are very polite, will ask if you need help only if they see you struggling (which I like personally, they don't feel like vultures waiting around the corner constantly).

Overall, I enjoy shopping here. I come mostly for diamond art paintings and supplies, but have also come for acrylic paints & molding clay; have been overall satisfied with everything. If you're looking for diamond art supplies they have pretty decent selection. Hobby Lobby...

Michaels manager, Abigail, has helped me a couple of times. She always goes out of her way to be helpful. I once had problems with an online order, and Abigail personally researched my order and checked each item one by one till she got it resolved. Today, while visiting the store, I lost my wedding ring. I called an employee at the store, who was extremely helpful, but could not find the ring. About 5 minutes later, Abigail called me back and stated she had found my ring! I went to the store, showed her a picture of my ring, and she went to office to retrieve it. Framing: Placed a framing order online and came in to drop off the piece. The associate was super helpful in measuring and confirming my order. They informed me that I could have my piece evaluated for perfect matt and frame color, but agreed that what I picked would look good. Will update on pickup!

Shopping: the store always has season-appropriate displays and decorations in stock that look great. You can't help but take a look! Staff are always friendly and happy to help look for something.
