Found Objects — Local services in Birmingham

I don’t typically post reviews, but was very disappointed by my experience that I want to make potential customers aware. I purchased a dress which I tried on in the store. I wasn’t sure the fit was right, but thought I would know better once trying on at home with different undergarments. Unfortunately, it didn’t fit properly. When I tried to return it the store owner told me I could not, because it was a final sale. I asked why she did not inform me of this? She indicated she had, and was sorry as sometimes things are overlooked. I’m certain she did not inform me, because I would not have made the purchase. She told me final sale comments are printed on receipts, and pointed to a small sign taped to the cash point, which I obviously didn’t see. She also told me it’s the customers responsibility to ask. Absolutely my favorite store in Birmingham- Mother and Son owned- they have created this amazing space! I love the foundation and love behind this store and the talent as well. The Son, who goes to NYC and shops fashion- brings back beautiful unique pieces. I bought a beautiful navy blue Nicole Miller dress from there and I had an issue with the zipper and they helped me and accommodated me … and taught me how to properly zip up the zipper as well… 😬😬😬.
