Reem Akkad was with me in designing my new build pretty much from its original stages. I’m not sure if I could have kept my sanity without her!! Reem is a talented brilliant designer who knows all the stages of building and remodeling. She was able to help me from start to finish In bringing my visions to life. It’s extremely hard surprisingly to start with a blank canvas, but Reem helped me to hone in on my likes and dislikes, and helped me to create exactly what I wanted! What I loved about reem is that she didn’t force her ideas on me, rather helped me develop my own ideas and then brought all those looks to life. After she was able to figure out my style, she would bring up ideas and suggestions that were beyond anything I could have dreamed of! We have been in the house for over four months now, and not a single person walks in without marveling at the incredible design and detail of the house....all thanks to Reem! I have a dental office that began with a good looking office and then I moved up a level with Reem. I had a specific budget that she stayed within, and she gave me great value. I was happy with Reem right from the start. She draws from her training, experience and travels around the country at trade shows so her recommendations are state of the art. I remember her hauling large catalog books weighing many pounds so she could show us a large selection of design so we get exactly what we want. My wife is very artistic and I am functionally minded. Somehow Reem was able to satisfy both of us while staying within the vision of the office. 95% of the existing patients that walk through our doors are wowed by the transformation. I was on the board of a nonprofit organization, and we needed to remodel the banquet hall; not an easy project since the space is ample ( 250 people capacity ) and is used for multiple purposes. Working with Reem on that project made the experience enjoyable; Reem is very professional and creative, pays attention to minor details, and does not settle for anything less than perfect. I remember Reem getting the heavy carpet books to choose the colors and design, listening to different opinions patiently, and using multiple companies until we reached the final design that turned out beautiful.
