Do not understand the rave reviews. Stopped by mid day. Crust was so burnt that he (owner) was cutting most of it off. The pizza slice could not even be held - so limp. The ‘toppings’ what there was of them (cheese and pepperoni -I actually paid for double pep- what a sad joke on me). Left a generous tip. The top of the pizza, what there was of it, needed to be eaten with a spoon. This is a prolific chef … been around a long time at many restaurants. A real bummer as I’m on the hunt for great pizza. Unfortunately, in my experience, not here.
UPDATE … no one hired me! This is my actual experience. You & I had a conversation when I came in. You gave me an explanation as to why you had to cut the crust off. Your wife was there, too. I’ve had other ‘non-chain’ pizza. I understand about your dough. Could not lift the slice! Everything was in a puddle in the box. Perhaps you should listen to this customer as opposed to defending the inferior product you sold me. You DID NOT offer to remake. This pizza was already in the oven-no extra pepp was added by you. You said ‘there will be enough’. You gave the remaining part of the pizza to another fellow that was waiting for his order. Of course I expected to pay for extra pep. Was not looking for any freebie. This was more than crispy … it was BURNT AND BLACK - otherwise why would you have cut most of it off! It smelled & tasted burnt. This is my truth about my experience with your product. Unfortunately I did not take pictures. Extremely disappointed not only with the product you are selling, but also with...
Read moreShut up and listen! Matter of fact, tell the person next to you shut up so they can also hear this. Grano PizzAiolo is hands down THE Best 👌 pizza place in town. I have had the pleasure of getting to taste many of the food options here. The Pizza is exceptional! I love the perfect char flavored crispy crust. The other customer wasn't kidding, the spinach pie with the carmelized garlic cloves....Man!!....amazing! If you're lucky enough to catch it on the right day, the sandwiches and subs are to die for. BBQ pulled pork, corned beef, turkey, Italian, meatball.....all are out of this world! I've said it to my family and friends that this chef is outstanding. I call him an Artist! Because his creations are just that: works of art! I just had the meat loaf dinner plate and im sad i have to save some for later. It's so delicious! There is truly nothing that I have eaten here that HASN'T made me look up in the air while taking that first bite and just close my eyes in pure bliss lol. Keep up the awesome work guys!! I hope i don't come off as being biased here, I do get the pleasure of being in the area alot so this place is top notch as far as food options and I'm very appreciative that...
Read moreGrano PizzAiolo delivers on what matters most for a pizzeria: excellent food. The pizzas are crafted with obvious care — thin, crisp crust fermented for 3 days with a satisfying chew, vibrant sauces that taste fresh and bright, and toppings that are both generous and well-balanced. The salads are equally impressive: crisp greens, thoughtfully dressed, and built with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Unfortunately, the service does not match the quality of the kitchen. While the food invites you to linger, the experience is marred by the demeanor of the zaftig female owner, whose manner is less than welcoming. Interactions feel brusque and perfunctory, bordering on boorish, which casts a chill over what could otherwise be a warm neighborhood gem. If you can look past the lack of hospitality, you’ll be rewarded with some of the best pizza and salads in town. But for those who value a friendly, gracious dining experience as much as the food itself, Grano PizzAiolo may...
