I just completed a major remodel and installation from Cali Closets (this was my second project, my first one was a shoe closet remodel that went really well also). I had a wonderful, professional, reliable experience. Erin is a joy to work with: positive, open minded, creative, patient, and extremely effective. I needed to maximize space in my loft which is filled with windows but scant on walls. I had an unused fireplace that was taking up space and I had previously inquired with other companies to demolish, and they had quoted me high prices for the work. Erin introduced me to her partners at RandD Drywall who did the fireplace demolition, drywall work, electrical, and painting and prep of the area. Then California closets came to install a beautiful and functional unit that Erin and I designed together over the course of the year. My unit is beautiful and 100% customized to my needs and preferences. Erin patiently worked through my ideas and mocked up practical solutions and evolved the design with me.

I had previously considered going with a lower cost, more informal service to do the work. And I am so glad I didn't. A friend of mine had a remodel done the same time as I did, and her guys didn't protect the space and got dust everywhere, took twice as long as the estimated time to finish, and created one stress after another.

Meanwhile, every aspect of my multi stage remodel was orderly and consistent. RandD put down protective paper neatly and slowly before demo on day 1, electrical on day 2, drywall on day 3, and painting on day 4, and cleaned up beautifully afterward. I felt no stress. My CC unit looks even better than I had hoped.

After wanting this service--the creation of a new bedroom closet space for over 20 years, it finally happened. It began with the appointment of the specialist coming to my home--in my case it was an amazing woman, Veronica Perkins. She entered my home being responsible by taking her shoes off and was completely considerate of my residence. We talked, she measured so precisely and efficiently, we talked product and products, ideas in abundance that California Closet offers. After she came out, my husband and I took time to go to the showroom in Wixom and see even more amazing products. In my closet I have special touches like the ironing board, my husband has tie and belt rack, I have hooks and shoe racks with the toe-stopper, drawers that are baskets, which gives me the ability to see what's in that drawer. And my favorite drawer is topped with glass and two sliding drawers for my jewelry. And the day of installation, whatever the anticipated timeline was--he met it. I absolutely could not beat the experience or the price. I did comparison shopping to other companies and hands-down the quality, workmanship and what I believe to be the durability of the product, outstanding and so smooth. I wanted to transform my space and become more organized. I wasn’t sure which company I should utilize to build my closet system. So I decided to get two estimates. Although the first company I met with was least expensive. I wasn’t satisfied with their lack of professionalism, outdated technology and cheap product. So I scheduled a meeting with Meagan and she sealed the deal for me. She was knowledgeable, informative, on time, professional and patience. After going through the designs and making changes to fit my budget, she never became frustrated or inpatient with my indecisiveness. My system was installed on February 10, 2023. The installers Ron & Cory were pleaseant, professional, friendly and very helpful. They made sure the working area was covered with dust cloths, leaving the area clean after the installation was complete. They also removed their shoes after every trip to the truck to unload which I appreciated. After the system was installed, not only did I have a space to organize my clothing. I now have a space that accommodates so much more. Meagan not only created a space for my belongings. It serves multiple purposes for my live than I could ever imagine.
