I decided to check this place out on a late night with my boyfriend and the employee walked up and asked for our ids. We gave them to him and he told me “they don’t accept vertical ids” after barely looking at it. Absolutely atrocious. I’ve never been turned away at any place before because they actually have eyes and know how to read ids. I’m guessing they assumed my Id was fake simply because it wasn’t horizontal. You don’t need to sell alcohol if you’re dumb enough to not be able to know that ids can be vertical and still valid because the expiration hasn’t passed and will turn horizontal after expiration. Surely will not be returning.
Edit: also not very surprised to see the many reviews of the fact that they seem very racist. Definitely gives that. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and try to not feel that way but I was initially rubbed that way.
Edit: if you are thinking of supporting this business please refer to this tasteless response from the owner. This establishment is completely unprofessional and obviously needs their license pulled as it’s so hard for them. Ids are not required by law to be updated and is still a valid form of identification. I hope you can learn to grow and understand how to accept criticism and better your business with the feedback given my consumers. I might be young but there’s nothing worse than being an older person who’s ignorant. You only get defensive in the reviews due to the validity of the accusations. No one stated you were racist BECAUSE of the id so don’t act like you can’t read and dont comprehension skills. Extremely tasteless and unprofessional. I hope you can get better and make your business feel more open and...

A gentleman and his son comes in they begin to greet him ask provides pleasantries and provides a menu . Then after eye contact again the waitresses, dhr approaches my husband and I drops menus on the table and says hi Kids and walks away, no apology for the wait or may I get you some water ,nothing. I was appalled, felt disregarded and disrespected. This was not a busy time or anything which should not be a bearing on equitable treatment and being greated with respect. As a over 45 year old woman and the only 2 African Americans in the building this treatment was outrageous and disappointing to say the least. It was apparent that the staff was a bit uncomfortable due to their constant eye contact amongst oneanother but without us receiving a greeting. We left . I like to spend money where I am respected. This is not...
Read moreWalked in and nobody that looked like they were working were around. A friendly bartender finally let us know we can sit where we wanted. We found a table, and sat and waited for about 5-10 minutes. No big deal right? Well after a while a server/bartender came over, and brought us menus and water. I knew what i wanted, but he ran off right away. Still not too big of a deal i figured he would be back soon. Well after 10-15 minutes of not being served, i started looking around, because he had not come back. Well i notice he was sitting at a table, with a beer in front of him, as he was recieving a shoulder massage from a server. I tried making eye contact with him but after a few minutes it was clear he was far too preoccupied by a female coworker to do his job. Never got his name but he had dirty blonde hair, with a sweater on. If you see him working that night, expect poor service. We ended up walking out after the 30 minutes without ever being brought or asked if we eanted anything other than water. Ended up at the townhouse which had...
