Iâm writing to share a deeply troubling experience I had at your Walgreens pharmacy, both as a pharmacist and as a customer: ⢠* courteous technician vs. evasive pharmacist* I called ahead around 1:00 PM to transfer my prescription from another location (due to low stock) and spoke with a friendly technician who immediately marked my script as âwaitingâ and assured me it would be ready when I arrived at 1:25 PM. When I arrived, the on-duty pharmacist flatly denied that any prescription was waiting after sharing with him I spoke to his teammates. He claimed not to know any of his teammatesâ namesâand walked away. During the entire interaction he had a very dismissive tone and attitude, I would never want him interacting with customers.
After he left I communicated with another technician and asked her to mark it was waiting - where the computer indicated it already was and he was lying. The team went to lunch and two minutes after Ii headed to the car to wait I got a call, to say my medication was indeed ready. The issue is not that the medication was not ready, I get it but to lie and let your team take the fall was a grave error in character.
⢠* breach of trust and professional ethics* As a fellow licensed pharmacist, I find his willingness to lie and shift blame deeply alarmingâa blatant violation of professional integrity that undermines both team morale and patient trust.
. I urge Walgreens management to address this incident and ensure their pharmacist uphold the honesty and responsibility that patients expect and deserve.
I truly hope this review serves as a wake-up call for Walgreens to improve communication and integrity in their pharmacy operations. Trust is the foundation of the pharmacist-patient relationship, and unfortunately, this visit severely undermined that...
Read moreVery bad and rude customer service by the supervisor, I came here for passport photos for my 5 years old son and first thing she said is it might take an hour to print if we are busy even though I was the only customer there at the moment lol, also the sign at photo center says âready in a few minutesâ which clearly they donât meet that Walgreenâs standard, Walgreens needs to take an action on that. The employee at the counter was nice though, she was able to print our photos very quickly but we didnât like the quality and just asked her if she could print that again with improved quality and she was ok with that but then this supervisor came again and rudely told us to just get out of the line and wait, now it will take an hour to print because there were 2 customers in the line? Thatâs gonna take an hour, are you kidding me? I was a customer too by the way and not getting photos for free, I am paying for that too. Donât be rude to your customers! Employees were nice but just this supervisor was really really rude who thinks she has a power to be rude at customers. She definitely should get fired. I was very very disappointed, never had this experience in other pharmacies or...
Read moreThis location of Walgreens is sort of the high-end version of a Walgreens. The perfume and makeup section makes you feel like maybe you are at Macyâs or Nordstromâs or somewhere like that. I have gotten two Covid shots at this location and both times it was very efficient. The first time was sort of peak pandemic when it was tougher to get a shot and yeah I waited for a half hour or so but I got it when it was really hard to get now. Of course itâs super easy you are in and out in like 10 minutes or less, they have a great selection of food and beverages here in particular. They have a not bad selection of craft beer for a Walgreens. Take that with a grain of salt. Itâs not like itâs a craft beer store or anything but yeah you can actually get something decent here, the wine selections actually pretty good too. I guess you got up. Make sure you keep your Birmingham clientele. Happy. Thatâs a good thing is extra ample and everybody that works. Here has always been really friendly. I have a Walgreens closer to home, but I take the extra couple miles to come to this one just for the...
