Captain Jack's Liquor Land — Local services in Bismarck

My wife and I recently moved to Bismarck from Wisconsin. We were excited that this liquor store was less than one mile from our house, given that we very much enjoy our beer. I have never left a customer review, but felt compelled to after our experience:

We were the only customers in the store mid-day before I started my new job. At checkout, my 7-month pregnant wife and 3.5 year-old daughter were (rudely) asked to leave the store due to a "no child" policy that was not explicitly posted. This was after we had passed 5 or 6 employees in the store, none of which commented on this policy. Safe to say we will be going out of our way to other establishments going forward and would not recommend to others. When I spoke with the manager he was indifferent, which I understand given the number of other locations in the area.

P.S. If you like IPAs, craft beers, etc., the selection sucks.

P.P.S. To the unnamed owner--I appreciate the quick, albeit "cookie cutter" response. You obviously did not read my initial review, as I said I would be recommending nor attending your establishment again. You do not need to "look forward to serving me again soon." Edited to add covid-related information: this store has put up plastic partitions between customers and cashiers, and all of their employees have masks on 100% of the time! They have multiple signs at the entrance stating that masks are required, and they will provide masks for those who don't have them. I was just in recently, and when one of the employees saw a man enter without a mask, she went right over to him to inform him that masks are strictly required, and I have a ton of respect for that. Many chain stores require masks upon entry, but once customers are inside, they remove their masks, and employees seem to ignore it. I'm glad that Captain Jacks is taking this seriously!!

Great selection, good prices, and good hours. Employees are helpful and friendly, and they go above and beyond for the customers. I once arrived at 9:55, thinking they were open until 11, but, upon arrival, realizing that they were only open until 10. Love the selection and the prices. However, I recently found out that they have a 'rewards' program. Multiple times, customers in front of me and after me have been asked if they are signed up. I have never been asked. I have shopped at Jack's for many, many years, and most of the time at the same location. I even emailed them to ask how to get set up, and received one reply that told me nothing. Now, I can't get them to answer any of my questions about signing up.
