Vintage Salon — Local services in Blacksburg

I got off of work early yesterday and desperately wanted to get a haircut. I didn’t have a salon that I usually go to, so I tried calling a couple and they couldn’t get me in (which is understandable because it was very short notice). I called Vintage Salon and she told me to come by and ten minutes later I was sitting in the chair! I got a drastic cut (long, mid-back length to a pixie with and undercut) and my hairstylist (I’m pretty sure her name is Frances but I’m so bad with names- I’m sorry if you read this and I got it wrong!) looked at my reference picture and went to work. Saw the reviews and went in for a hair cut and style. The last place I had gone to completely messed up my highlights and really damaged my hair with the quality of their products so I waited a couple months and was hesitant to try another place but I saw the reviews here and decided to check it out. The staff was really sweet and knowledgeable and listened carefully to exactly what I wanted. I stopped by Vintage Salon on my lunch break yesterday to see if I could get a walk-in appointment, and they were able to fit me into their schedule for a cut. I have short hair with a thick, wavy texture and it can be difficult to find someone who is comfortable working with short hair. Syndney gave me an amazing cut!
