Last night was the first time ordering from this place. I wasn't even looking for pizza, I wanted curry but it was getting late and I couldn't find what I wanted. We settled on pizza once we realized it was getting late and our kids were biting our ankles cause they ate all their day snacks. We ordered delivery; one colossal pizza, a medium pizza and some wings. Paid for about as much as I do for a Dominos or Papa John's even with the delivery charge. After recieving my food (which was delivered within 30 min and still fresh out of the oven hot!) I came to the realization that I was free from having to cook for my family of 6 for the rest of the week! My family can easily put away 2 large pizzas in one night. I don't know if it was because my husband and I were both exhausted and hungry but when we eventually were able to plop down in our seats and take our first bite of our pizza a simultaneous pleasure moan that can only come from experiencing the ultimate umami on one's tongue was released from the both of us. Afterwards it was good game, game over for my diet. All thoughts of of self restraint and practicing portion control were shredded, chopped, put through the meat grinder, combined with oats and a couple eggs, baked in a loaf pan, forgotten in the oven, burnt to a crisp and then fed to the dogs. Look, all I'm saying is if I had died last night for any reason and I went up to pearly gates and realized my last meal was a pizza from this restaurant I would be 100% satisfied with that. It'll be our go to place from...
Read moreCame for the darts and stayed for the food, the owner Lee is a down to earth good guy, very easy going and easy to talk to. The restaurant is still going through upgrades but looks like it's going to look great when it's finished. If you enjoy playing darts they have 4 new boards at the back with really nice score boards. I tried the all you can eat pizza and cheese bread option and even though I'm not a big eater it was very good and very affordable. I really like the crust on the pizza, it reminds me of some places back home. The only problem I had was actually finding the restaurant with Google maps, it's at the back of the building next to Starbucks but Google maps had me driving in circles to find it. Once you find it they have plenty of parking to accommodate large crowds. I hear they have karaoke night for anyone that likes that sort of thing. Unfortunately I'm only here for work so I probably won't get to many opportunities to visit this establishment and enjoy a...
Read moreMy dog and I just woke up at 11pm on a Monday night to my door rattling. I gave a few hollers to see if it was anyone I knew and after not receiving an answer for a few seconds, I thought I was getting robbed and armed myself for a break in. After a few moments of silence, I ran out to see if I could catch anyone trying to get away only to find a "The Beast of Blacksburg" employee walking away with a fat stack of flyers. Not only is it incredibly unsettling to be woken up to someone rattling on your door for a while, illegal to solicit without a permit and past 9pm (for people with permits), but most importantly is ignoring the safety of the person pulling on doorknobs in the middle a Monday night. This company has one of the most obnoxious, if not malicious, advertising campaigns from a local company that I've never eaten at and will continue to avoid. I'm thankful nothing bad has happened yet to the person out there doing this and recommend this practice change...
