Best customer service I have ever had in a furniture store, maybe in any store. Clint was the guy I worked with and he made me a believer that a store really can be on my side.

I started looking for a table and it took about 3 or 4 visits to nail it down, looking online at Amazon, Wayfair, etc. in the meantime. Somehow this store had prices as good or better than them and I'm very encouraged to know that DHF will actually make it right, in person, if something isn't exactly right. How can they pull all this off? I don't know but I have seen it in person and vouch for it.

I was impressed the store also has nice touches of the modern look I enjoy so I ended up buying a painting and an art piece along the way. Any time I need something in the future I'll start here and I probably won't be disappointed because as Clint says, it's a custom store, where much of the furniture can be made any size, shape, and color. I think there were over 200 swatches to pick from.

Now if I could only find that deep purple velvet....

After visiting their sister store, Furniture Exchange and having a great experience, we also visited Distinctive. We needed to purchase a couch, un-planned, so we were looking for something on a small budget. Turned out, they had 45% off floor models. The manager / sales associate who helped us was very knowledgeable. He knew exactly what would and would not fit to go down to our basement. We picked a reclining sofa since the backs would come off. The 2 delivery guys were just as great. They got the couch in, to the basement and all set up. They even offered to move our old couch any where we wanted. Very pleased and will return for future...

There are a lot of furniture stores in this town and the quality ranges from disposable dorm room stuff to heavy American made heirloom furniture. Distinctive Home Furnishings seems to start about halfway up the ladder and peaks out with jaw dropping style and quality. I bought two custom pieces in 100 percent top grain leather from them in July and in under a month they were delivered to my living room where I am currently enjoying the heck out of them.
