If I could give no stars I would. I was a repeat customer âwasâ I will never shop at Kayâs anywhere. I purchased all my jewelry at this location. Took them 6 months to decide to fix my ring that broke in half. The previous management was terrible, so I thought I would give them a second chance with the new manager. No! Same service! My daughters necklace broke, took it in for repair, got it back. Two days later it broke again with no necklace to take back, granted Keith did replace it, but two weeks later the new necklace broke, while laying in a lawn chair. Took the whole necklace back today. Keith did not offer to replace or repair , even though I purchased their warranty in which they do not honor. He wanted me to order a new chain on my account and give me 10% off ? Really!? This is your junk jewelry from her necklace to my ring and 10% is the best you can do to take care of your repeat customers, or any customer for that matter. So I shook his hand and went across the hall to Rogers and Hollandâs. Wow! Much better experience! Better prices too! They honor all warranties even if you havenât had it checked every 6 months!!!!! Approved and opened an account with them. Keith proceeded to come into Rogers and Hollandâs and tell me that he ordered me a whole new necklace, completely embarrassed me in the new jewelry store! Upset the employee that was helping me..... geez Kayâs get your stuff together. You donât chase a customer down in another store. Itâs like a bad relationship, you couldnât get it together and didnât care about my feelings so ITS OVER!!! I warned you. Rogers and Hollandâs has my business now and will take care of my current jewelry I purchased from you at no cost! Do not stop at Kayâs if your in Bloomington mall. Go to Rogers and Hollandâs right...
Read moreI've had nothing but trouble from this store since Feb 2, 2017. I traded in my bridal set for a new bridal set. In just less than a month I had a diamond fall out. They replaced the ring with a new one. After the replacement I decided to return the ring and was told by the manager that I was outside of my return window by 1 day. After calling the home office I was told it was up to the manager of the store was the person to make the decision on the return and she wasn't willing to return it. I've been trying a to reach the district manager for 2 weeks now. She called me 1 time when I was unable to answer the phone. She left a message and never called back. I've talked to several people at the home office with no resolution. Today I finally got a partial resolution but am still trying to talk to the district manager to get this completely resolved. Becky Pemberton (the manager) keeps telling me she can't do things when the home office says she can. She's been less than professional about the entire situation. I've been made to feel uncomfortable while in her store and ha e watched her employees talk about me as I'm walking up to their store. I've had the district manager Roxie Hahn not take my calls seriously and she isn't trying to fix my issue. I would not send my worst enemy to this store...
Read moreThe workers at this location need a lesson on respectability and hospitality. My fiancé and I came in to see if we could refurbish an heirloom ring left by his grandmother so we could use that as our engagement ring. They were unable to due to the material, but we weren't expecting much. The main problem we faced was how rude the service was both times we came. The workers made several loud remarks about the material of the ring and stones, about the quality of the ring and loudly stated how low valued it was when we dropped it off. When we picked it up, the other worker did the same thing. They looked annoyed to be speaking with us, they looked annoyed by the ring, and the way they handled my ring was disrespectful. When she handed it back, she pinched my stones and held it out like it was something dirty she didn't want to be holding anymore. We knew the ring didn't have a high value, we stated multiple times that it was an heirloom ring, and despite being open about this on our end, they felt the need to make a big deal about all the things we were open about not caring about. I have never ever in my life felt such disrespect from service before in my life. It's very clear that they only care about the dollar value...
