I recently had a house fire and was overwhelmed with a whole house renovation including furniture, decor, paint, textiles, cabinet hardware etc. I had been navigating options for weeks and was really not in a great space. I had no idea Birch Lane had a brick and mortar store, and when a co-worker recommended I go, I went right after work. What happened over the next few hours was MAGIC. Janine, who is a gifted interior designer, welcomed me and went right to work helping me feel comfortable, exploring our goals, likes, and needs, and just infused total hope and joy in to what has been a heavy hearted task. She spent 4 hours with us, offering paint recommendations, furniture options for our space, and decor ideas. She truly set us on a path to rebuilding and falling in love with what will be for our home. The design services, shockingly, are free, bringing an often out of reach service level to shoppersā¦and it doesnāt stop at your initial shopping experience, she can be as involved as you wish, including curating ideas and even sourcing options for you. If youāve never used an interior designer, as I hadnāt, I honestly canāt recommend it enough after my experience. Aside from this, the management team was amazing! They were incredibly kind and helpful. The shopping experience was beyond my expectations. The quality of the furniture was well above average, yet the price points were very affordable. Perfect for those of us with vintage, cottage, country, farmhouse or less modern tasteā¦but plenty of modern elements to mix in. I recommend the Boca Birch Lane location for anyone seeking decor, furniture, or home inspiration. For this shopper, they truly lifted my heart and mind, and helped turn our situation around. I know it will take us a while, but I canāt wait to see all my new furniture and decor in place when the renovations are complete! I will be forever grateful to Janine and Birch Lane for helping make our house a home again...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe products they sell aren't bad, but they haven't worked out how to make their business model appealing since you have to buy it in the store just to have things shipped to you. With that said, once you actually find something you like you have to fill out your details and then the item ships to your home in a couple days.
Sounds nice, but they screwed up and sent me a damaged order and now I have a $300 piece of furniture sitting in my house for two weeks while I have a back and forth with the distributor as they attempt to replace the piece. Would be better if they just let you buy the items and take them home and return them in store since as it is it's just an overglorified showroom for overpriced online furniture with a horrible upline returns process.
The people working there didn't seem to know anything about what they were selling and were not very helpful at all. I had to fill out all my information on a blank piece of paper- couldn't they give me a form to fill out so I remember what I'm putting on there? If this is a pilot store to test a bigger market than I'm sad to say as it stands it's probably not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNEVER and I mean NEVER shop or buy at this store or with Wayfair. I bought a bed at the Boca Raton store. One week later I receive a notice that the shipment has been cancelled because of incomplete instructions on the part of the store, and it is being returned to the warehouse. The store was unable to help me. Wayfair was unable to help me. After two hours on the phone with FedEx I thought it was fixed. It wasn't. Only one of two boxes was shipped. When I called Customer Service, I was told they would re-ship the second box, but it would take nearly two months to receive. Si I cancelled the order. It did not end there! Because it now showed no sale, they could not pick up the one box I received. They said to either donate it or throw it out! Anyone who buys from this store, which is owned by Wayfair, is making a...
