Been wanting to come here for forever because a Colleague advised that its the closest to authentic Italian pizza that you'll get in South Florida. Ive only been to Italy once, but from what I can remember, they didn't steer me wrong!

Spot is on the smaller side and I dont believe they take reservations, but we went on a Saturday night and were able to be seated immediately! It's small, but cozy, clean and modern. There is outdoor seating as well.

We were greeted by Jade who was incredibly personable, sweet and knowledgeable. Even though they were busy she was incredibly attentive and it made our first experience there so much better!

We had the balsamic burrata which was AMAZING. Fresh, simple, but flavorful. The saltiness of the focaccia and the bit of sweetness in the glaze balanced the dish so well.

The great thing about the pizza is that you can make any one star shaped if you want! We got two of the vegetarian options. The Claudio and Laina. The Laina was my FAVORITE. Could probably eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner without getting sick of it. I love a little spice and added some of their spicy olive oil to the ricotta pockets and it was to die for.

The Claudio was fresh and flavorful, but was definitely overshadowed by the Laina. If you're not a fan of truffle you might want to choose a different pie as the truffle is strong, but I love truffle so I thought it was incredible. If you have leftovers, the truffle isn't as strong the next day.

Was wayyyy too full for dessert, but definitely plan on going back to try the banana and Nutella calzone!

All in all, all the staff were working super hard, both in the kitchen and on the floor. Despite it being busy there was not a long wait time at all. If I'm going to be nit-picky the only thing I wish they had was a soda fountain. Last night was my first time at Mister01. My friend brought me cause she loves it & she knew I'd appreciate the place as a whole, the story behind it and all the little special things. Well....she was 100% right as usual! From the moment we walked in it felt welcoming & homey. The food was amazing and I definitely appreciated the way they served the White Truffle Oil with their Burrata appetizer. Anyone that knows anything about truffles/truffle oil/"white" truffle oil, knows that it should be used sparingly cause of the strength of the white truffle. It's those type of small details that I kept noticing and loving. The "STAR" Pizza we had was outstanding! You could taste each topping, which were all fresh & that coupled with their homemade ricotta and the most perfect dough/crust was simply indulgent. Let me also add that I'm not the biggest pizza person, it's just not something I crave normally cause of how greasy & heavy it can be. Mister01 pizzas though.....they are NOTHING like that! It's the best of both worlds, pizza & NOT heavy or greasy. Now, the best for last. Let me talk about our server, Nico. Hands down, the best service I've had in a long time. He was attentive without being smothering, smiles upon smiles in a genuine way, sweet as could be & our order was perfect. Even when he poured my single glass of wine, he poured it from higher up as to aerate it! That's just another one of those details that truly mean something to me, a former bartender & chef.
