ONE OF A KIND EXPERIENCE! We recently visited the IPIC movie theatre in Boca Mizner Park area, and on the first floor we came across this beautifully decorated Lounge and Bar area that leads you into the fine dining restaurant Serena Pastificio. The ambiance is amazing it is a very low light lounge and bar and the Restaurant is spacious with an open kitchen so guests can watch and smell the food cooking. We had ordered drinks at the bar (which were delicious by the way) and hung out in the lounge and when the table was ready the bar seamlessly transferred the tab to the table. The Menu is pasta heavy so be ready to sit after eating and have coffee and dessert, but its all worth it because the fresh pasta is amazing! We tried the Lobster Ravioli and the Braised Ribs and both were 5 stars, just delicious. You will not find something like this anywhere else. I have been to movie-houses with restaurants but nothing like this. This is truly fine dining at the movies. The best part of the night was the attentive professional staff and the General Manager Elvira who you can tell she loves what she does and takes a special interest in making sure everyone who walks into the restaurant leaves having an amazing experience. What's not to like here? I 💕 it! The ambience was amazing and it wasn't too loud nor crowded the entire time I was there. The menu was a bit limited but surprisingly everything was delicious! My Insalata Italiana had a few yellowing leaves but not unpleasant. My cioppino had a really fresh 🦞 in it along with a real prawn! The two scallops that was in my meal tasted fresh! Yes, it was a bit pricey, MKT $55 for February, but worth the value! The bottom of my cioppino was a bit too salty for me to handle with the over burnt bread, but after the seafood, it was best to move onto desert! I had a taste of the stinco di maiale, must say the Lima beans in that sauce was amazing. I don't like beans in general but they made them edible with the pork shank that literally fell off the folk! So tender and amazingly soft! My appetizer of polpettine was delicious too but once again stay off the coal covered burnt bread that comes with it. Dessert of cioccolato fondente (chocolate mousse bomb) was like the BOMB, so yummy! And pretty too! Edible gold leaves decorated an almond cookie base over bourbon creme anglasise and Amarena 🍒! Our waitress Natalie was amazing too, so friendly and cheerful! Had a great time there, definitely a great place for date nights or parties...
