I visited this store for the first time to look at engagement rings, but unfortunately, the experience was very underwhelming. When I initially walked in, no one greeted me. I stood there for several minutes, clearly browsing, yet not a single staff member acknowledged me — so I ended up leaving.
I decided to give it another try and returned later, hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, the energy was still low and the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. I tried to look at a few rings in a case near a male associate, but he didn’t acknowledge me at all. His laptop was positioned directly over the section I was looking at, which I understood since he was assisting others. Still, I waited patiently for about 15 minutes, clearly interested, before he finally moved — but not without giving me a look that came across as dismissive and irritated.
Ring shopping should be an exciting and memorable experience, especially for someone who isn’t an expert and is looking for guidance. Instead, I felt overlooked and unsupported. I did end up finding one ring I liked, and the associate I spoke with later tried to send me a link to it — but it wasn’t even the correct ring.

We did a lot of research ahead and walked-in. We were immediately greeted and helped even though we didn't have an appointment which was nice. They had a lot to try-on and a section with magnetic ring parts to simulate their online custom ring builder, a HUGE plus.
The guy helping us was taking the time to educate us about ring shopping but quickly picked up that we were only there to just do a try-on haul after already spending a lot of patience at another store and having researched before, which we very much appreciated him picking it up and just swapping rings and answering questions as we had them. That was what made the 5* for us honestly.
We ended up getting a moissanite ring online elsewhere, which Blue Nile doesn't offer, but it was this service experience that made narrowing our options design-wise...

My girlfriend and I were looking at different pieces of jewelry in the display cases. We were approached by two wonderful sales associates named Charles and Denise Noguera. They were patient, pleasant, sincere and professional. There was no pressure whatsoever and they took their time in assisting us. They essentially treated us like family and we were thrilled even though I am not the kind of guy that likes to visit jewelry shops with my girlfriend. I did not initially intend on buying anything, however the experience that my girlfriend and I shared with Charles and Denise inspired me to make purchases when my girlfriend chooses between the pieces on the list.
