GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT COMPANY AND GREAT CREW. We had a great team at our home Carl, Steve and Ronnie. They worked at our home for seven (7) days. They were courteous, respectful, EXTREMELY knowledgeable and professional. I asked them upfront not to wear shoes in my home and they already had the booties in their hands to put on their shoes. They went over in detail with us the problems, kept us updated and informed all along the way. We wanted to know why we had such a nightmare with our TV's and wifi. So they were very good about explaining, because as I will explain below all the horrible problems we were having. This was not an easy job, it was a total makeover, upgrade and fixing of everything that was done incorrectly and running new wires and putting in new equipment for Control 4. They had to work and change someone else's work. They worked efficiently and diligently. (We actually miss them now that they are done!) :(

Were they cheap? Absolutely not, because cheap is what got us into trouble in the first place. They are NO more expensive than the other Control 4 PROFESSIONAL dealers that we interviewed. GOOD SOUNDS ARE REASONABLE AND WILL WORK WITH YOU.

Everyone we were in contact with at the company JP and Bryan were wonderful, polite, respectful, etc. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING GOOD SOUNDS. That is Carl and I in the picture posted, at our home, on his last day.

THE STORY: We had Control 4 put in our newly built home 6 years ago, by whoever the builder used to do the install for Control 4. We kept the guy (very nice) to service the system and had nothing, but continual problems, could not use two of our TV's for a year or so, constant wifi problems, etc. etc. A neighbor of ours had the same contractor, and had a worse nightmare (different installer). He called in GOOD SOUNDS HOME THEATER and they straightened out and got the job done for them, so he HIGHLY recommended them to us. He loved the people there as well. In the end both of us had equipment that was outdated when installed, not using the proper boxes for the number of TV's we had, did not extend the wifi into the house, should have run different...

I gave these folks several chances to redeem themselves and they failed. JP is a nice person, but is really only interested in big jobs, mine was only around 5 or 6 K. The key issue I have however is that they have an electrician they use named Xavier. I don't even know the name of his company because they would not provide it to me. Xavier who they use to for wiring the TVs stereos etc..was very nice but did a very poor job virtually everything he and his company did had to be redone and I paid twice for the same work. The fact that Good Sounds associates themselves with this group (whatever the name is) was very disappointing . I called Xavier back to fix his work and add some additional work and we completely moved the family room in preparation for him and he never showed and would not even return a call. After a couple of weeks of frustration I called Good Sounds again and they half hartley tried to get in touch with him but to no avail. I have given Good Sounds referral business, but still no aggressive action to solve my issues some of which still exist. Bottom line, they could have been much more responsive, much more interested in helping and less interested in the "big get"! Im about to spend 16K now and unfortunately I cannot come near Good Sounds for this purchase as Good Sounds has left...

After being with one company for 20 plus years I pulled the plug and switched to Goodsounds Best move I have made in a longtime. It’s all about customer service and support. Lauren and JP excel at that

Always available,responsive and helpful. My calls answered and they do their best to solve any problems. Mario and Jordan,two of Their lead tech guys are awesome. Their work is top notch. Prices are fair. Remember you get what you pay for Try calling Brandsmart Sunday afternoon when your system crashes

I switched to control 4 from Crestron. Great move So much easier and intuitive

Prices are fair. Staff is great. But it’s all about customer service and that’s were they excell. You want someone to install a 56inch flat screen?
