I really dislike giving a bad review and prefer to leave only positive ones but this business has some serious customer service issues to address. Marc in the showroom was great, really nice and very accommodating. He is the only reason I gave them any stars at all. The delivery guys were all great. I say “all” because our first order of bar stools came with one in perfect condition and a second in a non-functional state. The delivery guy said he would have left it until a replacement could come but that it could not be used at all so he would take it back and submit the claim. The replacement arrived with adhesive melted onto the metal that could not be removed. A replacement replacement (a third replacement) was delivered also in unacceptable condition with adhesive that could not be cleaned or removed. I was also sent a text stating the delivery would be on Friday which I planned for but then got a call Thursday morning saying my delivery was 30 minutes away. 🤷🏻♀️ Luckily, I was able to get to my place in time so it worked out but seemed odd. My issue was not with the item itself, these things happen, it was how poorly we were treated by the “customer service” person. I received a gruff text telling me that because three of the same item were all delivered damaged my order would be cancelled. I said I would still like to order another bar stool to match the one I got that was in perfect condition and I was told they will not let me because that shipment of stools were all bad, I told them I would like to speak with my salesperson (to find a solution I would be happy with) to which I was told “they can’t do anything”, and “you have to tell me by tomorrow if you want the other bar stool picked up or I will close your order”. The tone was almost threatening. We reached out to the CEO of Modani who has not responded at all. I reached out the “customer service” person who did not respond. I have rarely been treated so poorly and to me it is clear that making the customer happy is far from their top priority. Very disappointing. UPDATE: Almost 2 weeks after I requested to speak with a supervisor I received a phone call. By then I was on holiday so I asked for a call the following Friday which did happen however I was unable to answer the phone at that time. We purchased what was advertised as “yacht-grade” leather, supposedly resistant to stains and designed for durability. Unfortunately, within just a few months, the material faded dramatically, developed mold, and showed signs of wear entirely inconsistent with the promises made.
When we reached out to their claims center, as directed, we were met with dismissiveness and a refusal to honor the warranty. This was especially disheartening given the assurances we were provided at the time of purchase. While the items appeared elegant in the showroom, they quickly warped and revealed themselves to be of shockingly poor quality once in use.
Beyond the subpar product, the company’s lack of accountability and substandard customer service only compounded the frustration. It is abundantly clear that their primary concern is securing a sale, not delivering on their commitments or supporting their customers.
We deeply regret entrusting this company with our investment and would strongly caution others against making the same mistake. While their products may look appealing at first glance, the reality is far from what is promised. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere for quality and integrity.

We purchased a full coverage warranty and properly filed an online claim. Within 48 hours I received a message from “Jenece”, from customer service, to inform me she will be assisting the warranty claim process, and sofa exchange. I found “Jenece” to be very professional and pleasant in our conversation and look forward to her help resolving our claim. I am confident that Modani will stand by their word and commitment to quality merchandise and customer service in accommodating my request. From Boca Raton to L.A., our family has furnished our homes from Modani, and look forward to being long time satisfied customers.
We purchased a Living Room and Kitchenette set at this Modani store Feb 2019. We were really impressed by the unique style of all the furniture on the show room floor and immediately found what we wanted. Our sales agent was knowledgeable and hospitable and the finance agent handled the sale professionally and efficiently. However, Modani doesn't stop at the sale, they also provide EXCEPTIONAL customer service which I experienced first hand, 7 months later.
