After giving Chipotles employees multiple chances; I can hold in my frustration no longer. I will never eat at Chipotle ever again. Here is why....
The first time I ordered on their app, it told me that the order would be ready at a certain time (forgot the exact time) and it turns out that when I got there; not only was the order not ready, but the staff decided to tend to the regular customers waiting in line BEFORE tending to me! And the line was very long as well which frustrated me even more! I thought 1 of the points of ordering on the app was so that you did not have to wait in line. Instead; ordering on the app added an ADDITIONAL 30 MINUTES on top of the usual wait. Unbelievable.
The second time, the exact same thing happened again! AND they got the order wrong. I didn't want lettuce and 2/3 of my steak bowl ended up being lettuce.
The third time I ordered using the app; I ordered at around 9:30 PM when they closed at 10 PM. And this time there was no wait BUT they stoped cooking steak and did not have any alternatives for me to choose because the chefs were not cooking anymore. So in other words: they offered an item on their app that they did not have. Why would they stop cooking their primary ingredients?! Because it was close to closing time?! Is it really so much to ask the chefs to do their job all the way to closing time and not cut corners?! Absolutely unacceptable.
The clerk told me I had to call corporate to get a refund (which is insane, the on store manager should have that power) and I did just that and they told me that there was nothing they could do. So I got stiffed, they have my hard earned money and I was left with an empty stomach. Wow, just wow.

Read moreI have been enjoying chipotle for quite some time. The frustrating part for me about this place is each location is different. One location could be delicious while the other location tastes blah. I don't know how it works but... it is rather upsetting haha so we have certain locations which we feel are better in flavor than the others,
This location is pretty good. My only complaint is some people give you normal sizing while others give you barely anything, and you have to be like uhmmm can I have some more rice please. What really gets me annoyed is the guacamole situation. We all know by this point guac on your bowl is an upcharge. I am so happy to pay it, but I want what I am paying for! Some people give me a good glob of guac! YAY Then there are the scooop and hitters. Where they take the spoonful of guac and hit it against the side of the container to make the excess fall off and you get very minimal guac on the bowl. I feel since I am paying $2.25 extra for that scoop of guac.... give me a real scoop!
I believe it used to be $1.95 for the extra guac, but in the locations near me it says $2.25 and when you order online in the top off section it says $2.25 for that guacamole.
My bowl usually goes like this
White rice Pinto Beans Chicken (the other meats are good too! Even the tofu one which is called Sofritas. It actually tastes pretty good! Pork is good. The steak is good.. bit on the spicy side for me. I have not tried the barbacoa or the carne asada. I enjoy the Chicken) Light cheese Lettuce and of course that guacamole!
I used to get the corn ( I love corn) but I realized there is something in their that is super spicy... some kind of pepper I am sure. Whenever I get a bite of it..... my mouth is on fire haha I am super sensitive to spicy, though. I wish they made the corn without it.

They're Barbacoa was dry, even acknowledged by the team member who helped me, but yet none being made?! Seriously?! So then you get to the next part to your bowl making process... toppings... oh so what do we have here... very little guacamole. And they're not restocking it?! Sorry chipotle but you're very well known for your guacamole and you run out. The team looks like they hate their job and did not smile much at all. Does chipotle not understand customer service? By far this is the worst chipotle I have ever been to and despite being conveniently close to work I'll opt for the longer distance for a better store and service. Oh can I also mention my bowl was cold... the rice and the chicken.... it was a 5 min drive from the chipotle store to my destination. This store needs to get some better managers or focus their efforts in being on the front line supporting their team cause for a busy night (dining area was pretty full) and at least 10 people in line when I got there.
