So I visited this place after reading multiple reviews and boy, are we sure yâall are reviewing the correct location? Either that or the reviews are fake, which may not be too far from the truth considering often times people canât be bothered with deleting their personal information off of their phones, computers and any other device that you may be selling or pawning to them. Therefor you give them your email and password that is associated with that device. Just read the reviews. They are fake. Theyâre written with way too much detail in example names of employees and etc. anyway on to my experience. The customer service here is terrible. There was 3 employees at the time, 2 men and a woman. She may have been the worst out of the 3. Her sarcastic attitude is very telling of the way they treat customers in there. There was a black guy selling a fire arm and one of the men there made a racist joke he said and I qoute âLet me wipe my finger prints off because you never know what he did with itâ so moving on, the product I was pawning was a very expensive electronic. Originally priced at over $600 obviously I know Iâm not going to get offered anywhere near that price, but to be literally offered less than $60 for it is a literal joke. The funny thing is that they have the same item there, well actually an older model with less features and power selling for $150. When I asked the woman taking care of me how that was even possible she couldnât come up with an excuse and just pulled random words out of thin air in order to make excuses as to why that was even possible. This place is a complete rip off and not worth the waste of time even going in there. Another thing theyâre selling a Nintendo DS PokĂ©mon edition for $125, when the retail price for a brand new one is $79.99 tell me how that even makes sense?! Lol this place is a joke. Like I said The customer service is terrible. They will treat you like youâre below them just because youâre in there asking for help. Skip this place and donât listen to the âpositive â reviews I can guarantee you that most of them are 100% fake. Just read the response one of their employees left to the 1 recent negative review they received in the last 3 months, does that seem...
Read moreI bought a Dewalt drill from them last Friday. They assured me that it worked. I took it to the job site and the clutch in it slipped so bad it did not work. I brought it back and Casey that works there said that they will not even give me credit even though I had my receipt. He lied and said that they test everything they sell. If they tested it they would have seen that it didnât work. I then told him that they are selling junk and that was a shady business practice. I gave him one more chance to right his wrong decision or I would let potential customers know of Capital Pawn selling non working power tools. He said go ahead and do it. Having millions of review readers as a local guide I recommend that no one buys from this Capital Pawn store as they do not care if they sell junk and they do not stand behind the items...
Read moreStaff was rude, uninformed, but most importantly, dishonest. One thing is to be a reselling business in which you buy at a fraction of retail cost, but this person tried to convince me that 'sold listings' on eBay are items still not sold, parked and waiting for a customer. Moreover, tried to convince me that 'best offers' were discounts suggested by the sellers because they could not get a fair price. eBay is not retail cost if you look at 'sold' listings, that is the individual merchant cost. Being uninformed on certain items will always be okay, but trying to buy an item for less by showing misleading information to an informed collector is a behavior that should be not tolerated by any customer and that gives the customer the responsibility...
