Hole in 1 Bagels & Deli — Restaurant in Bonita Springs

I was craving a sesame bagel sandwich for lunch. We don't dine out much. With 3 teenagers and myself at home due to disability, our budget is tight. This was literally the first time my husband has gone out to pick up lunch for me. My husband returns telling me they didn't have sesame bagels. I meant to tell him if they were out to just skip the order. I didn't want a sandwich that was missing the only ingredient that stirred my craving in the first place. But, I am grateful for his efforts and set out to eat my plain bagel sandwich with turkey, lettuce, tomato and Italian dressing.

Two bites in and my appetite is gone.

I would not have bothered with leaving a Google review for a bagel shop not having sesame bagels. But I cannot forgive the mealy tomatoes on my sandwich. A deli that serves disgusting disintegrating tomato mushy mash is not a legitimate deli imo. Well, I wish I could’ve tried the bagels. Except the service sucked. They have a sign asking you to help small businesses by paying cash; well, if you can’t help yourself by serving your customers, you can’t certainly expect us to help you. Sit there for five minutes waiting for one person to cook eggs while another person came out to answer the phone, didn’t ask me if I needed help, and then served two other people I had just left. Been wanting to try this spot for a long time, finally now with a new work area,I had the opportunity to stop in. First and foremost if you’re from the Northeast area this is the place we have been looking for. The Owner Mike is an old school down to earth man from NY, and his shop is every bit as good as any places in the Northeast. The sandwiches are the best in Southwest Florida.
