Shirts By the Bay — Local services in Boothbay Harbor

I am not a big fan of shopping in general (apart from books & outdoor apparel/gear), but when we travel to a new area, I do like pop in to a shop or two to pick up stickers, postcards, a Christmas ornament, maybe a hoodie or shirt, & check out the jewelry, as we like having little mementos from our trips, as well as supporting the local economy. I was tired having just come off the Cabbage Island Clambakes tour boat, & probably wouldn't have stopped in here, except our extended family group wanted to shop. The shop hooked me by putting a really nice marked-down hoodie outside; it was light-weight, beautifully embroidered with "Boothbay Harbor," & had thumbholes. Score! Found some fun stickers & postcards inside. Cute jewelry too although we didn't buy any. Ended up coming back here a few days later before coming home because we wanted to pick up gifts for friends. Owner was exceedingly friendly....

What a great store with unbelievable prices! I told my wife to just go in by herself. She came out and insisted I come check it out. We bought a few shirts that say Boothbay Harbor.... because we love this area. I got a shirt for $6 and my wife got a long sleeve for $8! Except we have a ton of fleece tops, they sell them for $19. If you're looking for souvenirs, definitely...

Great place, we bought multiple tee shirts, sweaters and jackets in the late season and prices were way lower than anywhere we went on our trip to Maine (Old Orchard Beach, Harpswell, Portland, Freeport).
