After I had been completely SCREWED and outright LIED to in the name of money and greed by the Jewelry Exchange in Sudbury, I was pretty scarred from the ring buying experience. I found the jewelers at Barmikian by chance, and they were extremely knowledgeable, honest, fair, and respectful with me from the beginning. They are truly diamond and stone masters. The best part was that they treated me like a human, not like a sale. They were willing to give me advice about a problem I had with something that I had bought somewhere else, far before I had even indicated intent to buy anything with them. My experience was immensely refreshing. . My wife had pointed out some designs before, and I had secretly shot some pictures of them. When I came to Murat with the various pictures, vacillating between which design I should choose, he enthusiastically helped me realize I could have the best parts of all of them..with just a 1 karat diamond, he created a unique custom ring that was unmatched by anything I had ever seen. He created the ring that the love of my life deserved. . I had the ring in three weeks. This is was incredibly important, as I had lost a large amount of valuable time with my horrible debacle with the Jewelry Exchange in Sudbury. Three weeks was extremely fast for a custom ring like this to be made. I was highly impressed. The result was perfection. . Searching for an engagement ring was stressful. Trying to find the right type of diamond (color/clarity/cut/carat) on the right setting for the right price was kind of overwhelming. Like most people in my position, I had no experience with what to look for. After hearing multiple positive reviews with Barmakian Jewelers from close family members, I decided to go see for myself.

After my first meeting with Murat, I realized how lucky I was to have met him. Murat helped me understand the value of a diamond, and with his expertise, compared a variety of diamonds within my price range. Actually seeing the diamonds side by side, I was better able to make a decision. Considering the significance of my choice, Murat remained patient and was more than happy to accommodate my request to either view other types of diamonds or answer my, albeit naive, questions.

With no pressure to make a purchase, I was given great advice to think over my options and come back when I was ready. Returning a couple weeks later, I went ahead with purchasing a beautiful round cut diamond that my girlfriend had her eye on. Murat provided some advice and options for insurance and after asking where I was planning to propose, gave me a pouch for the ring so as not to ruin the surprise with a box shaped object in my jacket (I planned to propose on a mountain).

I proposed to my girlfriend a month later and she said YES! Every time she puts on her ring on she lights up and smiles.

He took great care in helping me select a band that would look best with my engagement ring, considering cut and shape, and spent a lot of time with my fiance as he decided the weight, style and size of his band. They also resized my engagement ring at this visit while we were there and cleaned it. The rings were ready in about 6 weeks time and are gorgeous.
