The food and the portion was mediocre at best, but there was a buzz about truffle burgers more recently. I have decided to give it a shot. I tried the chicken sandwich at the other place and it was above average at best. The truffle burger look like they put half of the amount of shallots on it and some truffle sauce on it. It was also small.

The fries were lukewarm but the cheese sauce was absolutely cold as it felt like the sauce sat there for at least 45-60 mins and looked like something that would suit more for nachos. Some of the cheese fries stuck together like glue.

I paid around $19-$20 for this kind of meal. Seems it should be more like between $8-$9 instead (based on the mediocre meal, otherwise I would say around $14-$15 for the portion if the meal was outstanding).

The seating during covid-19 could be better, I sit on a stool by the window and felt that the stools that were placed were extremely crowded, and some of the tables were not cleaned.

More recently on August 15, I have ordered a Shake Stack with the bun halfway off along with spicy cheese fries that is spicy but is missing the cheese on it. Seems your employees are in a rush to get those orders out in a timely manner but they need to make sure that the order has everything on it.

Update April 2023: Shake shack is actually a decent place to get some decent burgers and fries. It's just a shame their special is kind of bait and switch...

I’m not sure what kind of general manager they have their now but I’m seeing new faces and seems like they don’t know what they are doing ,their board was red and I was standing waiting for my food and at a point the tall girl who was there left the station unattended because I think she went on break or something. not only was I a guest in the restaurant but I was also a concerned parent seeking about the mental of my child who works there and from my understanding theirs a lot of unfair treatment going around since this new manager came about .I couldn’t help but to notice that this general manager was also having lunch with one of the new ladies and…isn’t that against the rules?not to mix business with pleasure especially to prevent favoritism? I ordered from your app to get the white truffle burger and I tried the tiramisu shake and I got the the hot dog with cheese sauce on it. I’m VERY disappointed?! I’m at work and ordered delivery (when I order from multiple other restaurants they SEAL THE BAG SHUT SO MY FOOD IS ONLY OPENED BY CUSTOMER) my bag was wide open the the box with my hot dog was open not closed! This is bad customer service and I would expect Shack shack manager or staff would do this mandatory with all delivery orders! On my hot dog order i paid for cheese sauce, but I received a plan hot dog?! But shack shack charged me for it! I’m not ordering from here every again!
