There's a reason why reservations were so readily available apparently, the service and food was embarrassingly poor.

Arrived and stayed we had a reservation, all 3 hosts seemed surprised " you have a what?" Yeah the entire place was empty at 6pm on a Saturday. There we mad more staff then customers (and yet service was horrible).

We were seated 20 feet from host and door and after twenty minutes and numerous eye contacts with gusts still no one to provide menu or take drink orders. I walked up to bar and asked for some drinks and one of the 4 people behind bar asked if I wanted to also eat informed her I was seated at table and she said "uhhh what?l". I pointed to our table 20 feet away and she informed me a waitress would be there shortly. I expressed appreciation and she was correct. Someone did eventually show up.

I should have realized something was amiss as a table if 5 next to us didn't have any food on table and looked a bit frustrated.

We eventually ordered some appetizers the empanadas, Caesar salad and sone chicken pita thing with our drinks. We didn't order any dinner at this point as we wanted the option to cut bait and go to dinner somewhere else as our hotel the Omni was just 1 block away on the trail. The apps were ok and my cocktail did arrive.

We ordered the steak, pasta and meatballs, and the carnivorous pizza. The pasta was inedible. The steak was cooked through and through (asked for medium rare) and the pizza was undercooked. I'm pretty sure the pizza came from the frozen pizza aisle somewhere as all the food was really salty.

Paid our bill in cash so as to not leave a credit card for something else to go wrong then went back to our hotel lobby restaurant for dinner and a Boston cream pie at the last hurrah's apparently where they had professional...

Got sat in the corner. Came for food, pizza was weird which it’s hard to mess that up but the cheese looked like it was squeezed out of a tube? FiancĆ© ordered a beer. They gave us the wrong beer. Got someone to finally come over. They brought the wrong beer again. Asked for a side of marinara for the white pizza it came in a tiny little container used for ketchup so we had to ask for a few more of them and instead of taking the hit and putting it in a larger vessel they continued to bring the tiny marinaras which was entertaining. The bar staff were all hanging out on their phones. The host didn’t even look up at us when we walked in the door which we should’ve known what we were in for. They said they would take the wrong beer off the tab but it was on the bill when we got the check and I had no faith they would be able to fix it at this point because it just seemed like the place is run by a bunch of people hanging out in their living room. I’m 31 btw not a grumpy boomer who has a lot or respect for people who work in the service industry. There’s plenty of places in Boston that deserve your patronage...

The reviews speak for themselves!!!

We were there with a bunch of friends on a Friday night and while it wasn't that busy, we ended up paying twice for the same drink mistakenly. Once with a credit card and another was cash.

I contacted them the next day to explain what was going on and had to deal with Sharon (she introduced herself as the manager). First she made all this fuss about being busy and I should call her back. Then when I finally got a hold of her, she said that she can't confirm anything until she checks the "cameras" to confirm what I was saying and she would call me back. She also had access to our credit card numbers.

A week later and I didn't hear back. So I called and was told that she couldn't tell from the cameras so sorry she can't refund me.

Conclusion: A bunch of Irish thugs run this crappy piece of junk in downtown. The place is overrated and over priced. The staff are rude and unprofessional. Skip it. Oh and it wasn't hard to get my money back. A call to the credit card company and I was refunded. Shame on you for stealing...

My school has hosted here but I’ve never gone so I decided to check it out tonight because it looked quiet. It was quiet which was nice, it’s a Monday so that’s to be expected. It’s very nice inside, and decorated very nicely for Christmas. Hostess was nice and I sat at the bar and bartender was good too. I got the fried chicken sandwich, it was okay, it didn’t have much flavor and was hard to eat as a sandwich, but it was quite a big portion. Would love to go back again and try something different as they did have a lot of things on the menu that looked really good.

We got reservations for around 10 people the same day we were planning to visit. They called to confirm what kind of seating do we prefer. Parking in the area might be an issue. The place itself is very big, has pool table, small dance floor and good music. After 9, the place turns into a crowded bar with people dancing on the dance floor. Food and alcohol menu are limited but good food and drinks altogether. Definitely a place to go and chill with group of friends.

Upstairs bar is the way to go. A little more low key than downstairs. Menu has an option for everyone, including Mac n cheese!! Good cocktail list. Friendly staff and ample space for private parties. Lots of different options for party spaces and prices are pretty reasonable. Place turns into a dance party on Saturday nights and there will definitely be a line to get in after 10pm so plan accordingly!!
