Chase Bank — Local services in Boston

I initially had a good experience at this branch when I went to create the business checking account but today I walked out of the bank, thinking whether I should have made a comment for the banker's poor manner. I walked in to use the ATM to deposit cash and checks. I noticed a discrepancy where the machine read $1 short from my actual deposit amount. It was my first time noticing this mishap and it was only a dollar, but I went into the bank hoping if there is a way to possibly resolve and if not how I can avoid this in the future. I was met with kind of dumbfounded, "you should have cancelled the transaction then" gestures. I was little startled but I accepted and continued with my other questions in regards to accessing the business account thru the app, which the business banking specialist was then assigned to help me. Long story short, we were able to figure out why it was not showing up and how to fix it. But my biggest concern over him was the banker telling me "I told you so" kind of bad mannerism as if I had wasted his time. First of all, he did not even know what the actual problem was when he told me I told you that this was the problem all along. When I tried to dismiss myself, there was a very awkward silence where I was already not pleased with the way he was talking to me but he did not even make any statement nor gesture, for example to say good bye at least, and I just walked out feeling unimportant as if I am not a valued customer. I came in on what appeared to be her first day, and trust me, if you know me...allow me to ask 1 question, and there are 20 more waiting!!!

So I asked all of them (yes, literally all at once), and even though it was her first day, she didn't bat an eye at my request. Though she was not able to provide the exact request by this persistent customer, she still delivered - #1 impressive act.

Now here is the impressive part, I returned unannounced several days later, and to my surprise, Shruti, had my request available and I didn't even ask - #2 impressive act. She didn't have to do this for a complete stranger, but she did it anyway.

Thank you, Christian P, for hiring such excellent employees. It takes a true leader to have an eye to hire amazing people - #3 impressive act as a leader to select amazing people. As a scientist, all I need is an n of 3.
