TLDR; egregious sanitary/food safety concerns left unaddressed by management after 2 weeks

I’m sad to be leaving this review as I’ve probably ordered dozens of pizzas from this place over the last year of living in the neighborhood with much satisfaction. However, 2 weeks back I visited to grab 2 slices of their sold-by-the-slice pizza. I was greeted by a new employee who began serving me. After loading my 2 slices into the pizza oven, I watched in horror as she sneezed into her hands and in the direction of the pre-made pies without a care in the world. She proceeded to take my pizza out of the oven without washing her hands and was surprised when I hadn’t paid yet. At this point, she had not only contaminated the pre-made pies, but had also touched the pizza oven, the pizza utensils, and even my own slices with dirty sneezed-on hands. I refused my slices and left the shop without a word. I’m usually one to comment directly but I was so caught off guard by her indifference and lack of awareness to what she did wrong that I just left. As I left, I watched her USE HER DIRTY HANDS to place my pre-heated slices back onto the pre-made tray to serve to the next unlucky and unsuspecting customer.

I immediately went home and submitted a comment/complaint form on Otto’s website to let them know. It’s been 2 weeks and I have yet to receive a response. I’ve been too scared to go back since. I don’t think I ever will. Being a business owner and having been in the receiving end of unfair bad reviews myself I am not one to write a bad review unless it is really deserved.

Do not bother gong here. This place used to be amazing, now it is a shambles. They get your order wrong (ricotta and meatballs, no meatballs), they throw your pizza away if you happen to be twenty mins late to collect. This happened to me, I asked for a refund and they agreed and said they would make me a fresh pizza. So far so good. I sit there waiting for a fresh pizza. After waiting twenty five minutes I ask why it is taking so long to get my fresh pizza and I am told I am not getting a fresh pizza. They let me sit there for 25 minutes knowing this. I was sat right by the counter so they must have seen me. No one there seemed to have the authority to simply give a refined and a fresh pizza, they kept having to call some other manager. Seriously. Yesterday I ordered a pizza and an order of breadsticks. It seemed to be taking a while but I didn’t mind. What I minded was that when the pizza was finally ready it wasn’t what I ordered. The woman who took my order was very pleasant and seemed to want to help anyway she could but when she went to speak to the other 2 male workers they began to scream at her and it was very uncomfortable, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary.
