I was in need of a haircut and hair color correction. I am new to the Boston area, and came across Del Ara Salon in a Google search. I noticed that the reviews reflect positive experiences. After my experience yesterday, I can fully recommend this salon to others. From start to finish, I am impressed. The booking process was easy and straightforward. Upon arriving, I received a warm and comfortable welcome. The salon itself is clean and organized. I booked with Marnie. She is incredibly knowledgeable, and will provide honest insight based on that knowledge and her experiences. She explains her process, and is extremely professional. I have been coming to Del Ara for years, and they are the BEST! I used to live nearby and now come in from Somerville. The salon is beautiful, clean, and comfy. I like that I can do some work on my laptop during my appointments, and everyone is so nice. When I first started coming, my eyebrows were way overgrown and had no shape - I rarely let people touch them, but Shaida totally fixed them for me and I'll never let anyone else do them! Michelle has always done my hair and is hands down the best stylist I've ever had - she gives her input of what would look best and be easiest to maintain for me, but always lets me make the final choice (though at this point I trust her to just do whatever she thinks is best!). I went from my natural brunette to blonde with Michelle and every time it is perfect - the color looks great, it grows out well, and my hair is still healthy! 10/10 recommend Del Ara...

This salons atmosphere was amazing I’m a guy and I’m saying this. Super easy to book online and immediately greeted by the front desk. I’ve never brought my daughter to a salon so this was our first time. We both were learning as we went along. Her stylist was Niamh who was super friendly and experienced. I wanted to make sure my daughter’s hair wasn’t damaged. She wanted super blonde. With those 2 key elements and Niamhs, knowledge and direction. She nailed it giving us the final product of the picture above. All while making us feel at home, making my daughter feel apart of the haircut, filling me in on not damaging the hair.
