I just attempted to dine at this location. The non-bar section I attempted to sit in had two people sitting in the entire section. They have tall bar height tables along the rails and smaller tall pub tables and then short tables for four people. I currently have a disability preventing me from climbing up and off of tall objects so I sat at a lower four person chair. When the waitress (hair in a bun, small tattoos on hand) finally came out, instead of greeting me, informed me that she was going to need me to sit at one of the taller rail tables or pub tables because she couldn’t have me sitting at a table for four people and then walked away. I got up and left. I passed by her on my way out and informed her that unfortunately due to my disability I was not able to comply with her demands. She apologized and seemed sincere, she said it was ok for me to come back but at that point I had already gathered my belongings and declined her invitation to stay. My message regarding this less unfortunate encounter is that there are so many people with different disabilities. While I thank the Lord mine is not permanent, there are so many people who have lived their entire lives with one or more. Please be mindful of this in your workplace and anywhere you travel and encounter people. Some disabilities can’t be seen. Had the young lady ASKED if I could move instead of instructing me to move or if she had stayed long enough for me to respond I would have informed her of my situation. Please be mindful of how you treat the people around you and your customers. I spent about 30 minutes writing this post in between other things and all of those empty four person tables are...
Read moreI sat down and the bartender let me know that they already had last call and I was unable to order. I said no problem, the girl next to me offered half her sandwich and we started up a conversation. There were at least 15 people still eating/drinking. A few moments later the bartender came over to tell me that they were closing. I asked if I had to leave, noting that there were still other patrons sitting there and her response was "well you don't just hang out at a bar and not order anything." I know you're trying to close, but my presence wasn't affecting that and I was mid conversation. So I got up and left a bit irked. It's been 30 minutes and there are still 10 people sitting at your bar. Please try to be a little more courteous to people, I wasn't asking anything of you and your rudness was unnecessary. Also, let's go...
Read moreThe cook named Gene totally ruined my experience here. I didnt see that he put any avocado on my sandwhich (paid extra to have it) and i politely told the server. She went up to the window and politely asked him and he legit started yelling and arguing with her about the avocado.... and another male co worker had to get involved and say "just give it to me" he acted like it was HIS avocado and the last and only one on this earth. So unprofessional. Totally ruined my appetite, and my experience. The server apologized for his behavior and paid for one of my drinks.. im glad i got my food before i asked for the avocado to be honest. He probably would have spit in it with how he was acting..Its unfortunately the only place open on Terminal A for food. Take the time to go else...
