Legal Sea Foods — Restaurant in Boston

I love Legal Seafood restaurants, so when flying through this particular terminal at BOS, I was excited to give this Legal location a try. I was disappointed to find no fish or shrimp tacos on the menu, but they did have a fried fish sandwich. When I ordered it I asked for the tartar to not be on the sandwich, rather on the side, because I also asked for cocktail sauce to go with it. When the sandwich came out, it had tartar on it and there were no cocktail sauce. I mentioned this to the server and she did offer to take it back, but I waited so long for this one, that I just dealt with it. It was actually really good the way it came, so that mix-up wasn’t as big of a deal to me, but to some who abhor mayo this wouldn’t work. The fries that came with it were good too.

Overall, the taste of the food and the look were great. Service was mediocre (slow, inattentive, and clearly didn’t pay attention to my request), and the menu was the worst I’ve seen at a Legal, as it was mostly fried food. Definitely wouldn’t return to...

It’s a nice restaurant that helps you relax when waiting for the flights. They also have multiple locations in the city so I’m expecting to get the same quality and service. And it didn’t disappoint. Mini lobster roll + clam chowder combo: 5/5. It is perfect for people who doesn’t have a big stomach like me but want to have the best of both worlds. Lobster is tender and fresh. And so many clams in the chowder! Very fulfilling and tasty. Ask for tobasco sauce, just one drop will make it taste to the next level. Oyster: 5/5. We had time to kill at the airport so decided to sit down for lunch with our giant stroller and newborn. Maria S served us and provided exceptional hospitality. Her friendliness and knowledge of the menu intrigued us to try dishes we weren't planning to. The food is pricey, but you're at an airport, so don't be surprised. It was one of the best airport food we've ever had. The quality of the food and service matched the price. We were so delighted to know we chose the right place to eat (there isn't many in that part of the airport). We were recommended the crab cake combo and petite lobster roll.
