I absolutely love going to Copley. The best of the best all under 2 roofs. High-end fashion at its finest. Gucci and Saks were top of the line service. Pandemic is over, no masks, and it felt so good to be back to normal! No lines, no admission limits, no forced masks, etc. Gucci and Saks were packed with customers & still welcomed us with open arms AND NO MASKS! IT FELT WONDERFUL. Then came Dior. Dior being all masked up, leaving us at the door to wait so 3 customers could walk around their empty store. The entire left side of the store was completely empty. Security stopped us at the door and asked us to wait. We stood there and watched as a few employees twiddled their thumbs, watching all of 3 customers walking around the store. After a few minutes, we looked at one another in disbelief and decided to leave and go back to Gucci. We turned to the security guard and told him we were leaving. He said, "Have a nice day," and let us walk away. The worst customer service ever, and I'll never return. Kicker of all kickers, I was wearing a $3900 Dior hoodie holding bags of new garmets from Gucci. CLEARLY WE WERE THERE TO SPEND SOME CASH! Great job, Dior! You just lost thousands of dollars of my business today! IF I WAS IN CHARGE OF THIS STORE AND HAD THESE REVIEWS/ EMBARRASSING RATINGS, I WOULD THINK CLEARLY SOMETHING IS BROKEN HERE GUYS! AND TODAY I EXPERIENCED THOSE FLAWS! GET IT TOGETHER DIOR, FIRE THAT MANAGER AND HIRE SOMEONE WHO CARES ABOUT THE FUTURE OF DIOR! I still remember the first time I've stepped in here years ago to purchase my first luxury bag as a young professional. I wasn't dressed nicely. I probably was drenched in sweat from a long shopping day. I met Ann then. I was a typical first time buyer taking forever to decide on a bag. She patiently helped me pick the perfect bag that I still get compliments on to this day. I have been coming back ever since.
I was never a customer with a strong purchase history, meaning I rarely went. Maybe once or twice a year? Even then Ann always treated me as if I was a regular. Every time I went, I had such a great experience that now I stop by more.
Recently, I was invited to the jewelry event they had in store. Ann helped me try out all kinds of jewelry and we had so much fun. Then, when I found a gem, my husband surpris gifted me with the ring to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
This place is filled with great memories for me over the course of many years, thanks to the service I was provided. I've gotten my RTW's tailored, bag fixed, etc and never had any problem. Over the years Ann was never pushy about purchases and I still take forever to decide but feel respected. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with a cold, dismissive attitude that made me feel completely unwelcome. What made it even worse was that Ann's behavior crossed the line into discriminatory and racially biased conduct.
Her tone, body language, and refusal to assist me in the same way she helped other customers made it clear I was being treated differently. This kind of behavior is unacceptable anywhere, especially in a brand that claims to uphold high standards of customer service and inclusion.
