Worst customer experience ever. The chocolates are good but the attendant (dressed like a chocolatier), who was also a black woman, treated me with such disrespect that I was astounded. She talked to me as if I was below her and like I've never heard of them before. As I walked away, she was talking to her coworker who asked if there was any other options for me. She talked as if she was gossiping and said yes and quietly told him my other options but never said it to me directly. I am a loyal customer who has purchased online many times from them and was excited to finally come to this store but never again. If this is the type of people laderach hires then it shows the lack of respect they have for their customers. Completely disappointed. Was also told their praline boxes were filled with some truffles as they don't have the stock for only pralines. If I am paying high prices for chocolate, I expect to get what I have purchased. Might as well shut down the store with this much...

Terrible experience at this chocolate shop. To start, I want to commend the lady at the entrance who generously offered samples and introduced the products—her assistance was the only reason I considered making a purchase. I want to complain about the cashier, a fat black lady wearing glasses(objective description). The store was not busy, and I tried to indicate which chocolates I wanted with my eyes, but she ignored me and rudely told me not to cross the glass window, which I found quite offensive since I hadn’t done so. Additionally, she didn’t ask if I wanted a receipt during checkout, which is a basic customer service practice. This makes me question the training Läderach provides to its staff. Was this lady properly trained before starting her job? Unfortunately, despite the quality of the chocolates, I won’t return...

Worse customer experience I've ever seen, and it happens two times for me. I came into the store because the candies look phenomenal, I've tried them the first time and fell in love. Unfortunately, I'm not recommending or returning to this brand because of the racist encounter. I went to the truffle section. A racist encounter from a female employee that I can describe as an older adult with a tattoo, in charge of the truffle aisle. She treated me differently from other customers two different times just because I was Asian. She talked in a menacing tone provide zero help, don't want to answer my question, always looked for new customers, and reject selling me the chocolate the second time that I came back. If you want your store to prosper, would you want to refuse sale to your customers? If I could give 0...

Fancy Switzerland chocolate. You can ask for a sample of the chocolate you want to buy just to make sure you'll like what you buy. They're pretty nice. I tried a couple of different ones. Anything with white chocolate seems too sweet for me. The dark and milk chocolate are better. I ended up buying dark chocolate with strawberry and Milk Chocolate with florentine. The Dark chocolate with strawberry is perfect for anyone that doesn't like sweets because it's tart and only slightly sweet. The Milk Chocolate with florentine is a little sweeter but not bad. It has a nice crunch from the florentine like eating toffee.

Top quality chocolate! Expensive but tasty and rich. Good gifts for any age! It has big collection with variety. Wrapping is pretty too.

Was walking through and was tempted for the staff member with samples. We hesitated because quite often these free samples come with an expectation (and pressure) to buy something. But that was not our experience. Super helpful, and friendly staff. Got to try a couple other chocolate items. All of them were tremendous. Unfortunately we were not in a position to buy anything, but I would not hesitate to buy next time. You can also order and have products shipped from their oversees headquarters. (nothing is made local or in the USA).
